Susan Boyle's Liverpool Performance: Prompts Star to Rant About Cat 'Pebbles'

Is Susan Boyle’s newfound fame too much for the reserved 48-year-old to handle?
The former "Britain’s Got Talent" contestant was asked to leave a performance in Liverpool on Thursday night after having a "screaming fit" over her beloved cat "Pebbles."
A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, "She kept shouting, ‘I want my cat! I need my cat!’ I think people felt sorry for her as she was clearly unhappy." Another insider adds, "She was acting weird, scratching her belly with her top pulled up."
A representative for the tour says, "She’s just tired."
In late May, Boyle checked herself into London’s Priory Hospital after suffering an emotional breakdown. The hospital visit came just one day after Boyle’s defeat on "Britain’s Got Talent," the competition show that helped launch her to stardom.
Boyle, the women at wOw are rooting for you!

Good gawd! Poor woman has no idea what she is getting into…
…a business that thinks doing Heroin or shooting up Cocaine is just fine backstage…asking for expensive dressing rooms, specially painted and supplied with certain types of water and food…thowing guitars and lighting drums on fire…all just fine.
Sure, sure…rub your tummy…not good, but forget your underwear in a open-legged stage shot…fine! Chew off the head of a bat, or kill a chicken…on stage, fine!
Just don’t ask for your cat….
And they call her crazy?
Good point. That is a bit like the pot and the kettle.
Kelly,
It really boggles the miind, doesn’t it.
Yes Andrea, it does.
Entertainers have such huge egos…they think that they are something soooooo special…how dare an average woman such as she is, to try to be a success.
I understand her wanting the unconditional love and company of her cat….most animals I know are heads and tails (pun intended) above most people…poor woman has just run headlong into humanity and is suffering the consequences.
In all fairness, I have heard that she suffered a lack of oxygen at birth. so this could have an impact on her behavior.
[Of course I suffered a lack of oxygen at birth and all it did to me was make me feisty!]
Poor woman, but God gave her talent!
Feisty is a good thing…. ;]
If she has a neuro/psych disorder, I hope she does go home to her cat and takes it easy. If she could make a few CD’s as she feels up to it, that would be wonderful.
Feisty, yes. But in the words of my ex-husband to his divorce attorney, "She’s a tenacious little terrier." I can laugh about it now….he was right.
Your avatar…is that your horse? What kind? His/her name?
Maybe she could have a handler travel with her…or something.
My most favorite dog ever, was my much loved Jack Russell terrier…so you are in good company! My ex-husband also compared me to a dog…a female dog… ;]
Yes, that is a pic of Katie Mae…she is yearling now, Quarter Horse. I have about 50….6 new babies! 5 dogs, 2 cats, 20 goats, 2 mules, 2 mini donkeys, and 20 head of cattle. (see….told you I was an animal lover!)
KIT,
You weren’t kidding! I don’t know about the goats though.
Years ago I was out on assignment in a little town called Muleshoe, Texas. I was in the middle of nowhere, photographing something. I had all my camera equipment on the ground and was busy taking photos when, "crunch, crunch" - a goat was eating my camera case and film!
