After being attacked by her rapper boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna got a gun. Not a real weapon, but a small gun tattooed on her ribcage — which is making many people wonder: What was this 21-year-old thinking?

The singer’s tattoo artist, "BangBang," explains that the gun tattoo represents power and strength. Rihanna, whose beaten and bruised DA photograph was leaked and spread over the Internet, first wanted the tattoo inked below her shoulder near the front of her armpit. She changed it to her ribcage to not "take away from her face," "BangBang" said.

Brown turned himself over to the authorities on February 8 and was slapped with two felony charges for what police papers describe as slamming, punching, choking and threatening to kill his singer girlfriend.

God only knows! She needs psychological counseling ! She also needs to get rid of the toxic people in her life starting with Chris Brown! She doesn’t appear to have any real persons in her life who truly have her best interest at heart!

I lost all respect for her when I saw this. I am not against tattoos (I have several) but given the violence she has experienced it seems very thug-like to me. It’s an image that perpetuates violence not takes a stand against it.
