What fantasy iPhone App would you go crazy for?

While everyone loves iPhone Apps (train schedules, identifying music, etc.), let’s get really creative. What fantasy iPhone App would you go crazy for?

Mary Wells: Is There an App for 'The Beyond'?

Apps – aren’t they extraordinary and fun! Trouble is they could take up a month of your life once you get into shopping for them. It is impossible to imagine just one new one I would love, but I certainly would enjoy an App that told me every place in every sea where there were jellyfish so I would always be able to find places to swim without worrying, now that jellyfish are breeding so wildly.

An App that tuned into my mother or my husband to tell me secrets from the beyond would be good, too.

Liz Smith Sticks to a Land Line

I gave up on my iPhone, given to me by the sainted Joni Evans of wOw, and passed it on to one of our hard-working wOw kids. I am just going to content myself with signal flags, bonfires and that famous old gadget, the land telephone. If anybody ever invents anything that works easily I will try it again, but for now. No.

Joan Ganz Cooney Has No Fantasies About Apps

I have no interest in apps and have no fantasies about them.

Candice Bergen: Movies vs. Apps, Which Are 'Recession-Proof'?

I have no answer to this question. Unless it would be to invent a recession-proof business, which seems these days like movies, which are once again a refuge.

Fantastic!  Thanks!  When I was at the university, I had a couple of night classes.  Afterward, I would drop by this tiny but noisy little bar.  Every time that video would come on, everyone would get quiet and stare.  Palmer died much too young, but that song and his girls will live on for many years .

Shania’s spoof is spot on.

Steve, my dear, Robert Palmer is smiling down upon you.

Just what we need. More techy stuff for people to fiddle with while they are driving.  One political party has a lot of time on their hands these days.  Maybe they could come up with some laws pertaining to when and where we should be using all these phones and appropriate voice level when in public.

On another woman’s forum, I read about a woman who , while sitting in a restaurant, heard a dog barking loudly.  It was someone’s phone ringing.

While I just LOVE all this technology and have been a techno-geek long before it was popular, nowadays all I want are my laptops and cell phone. I’m no longer a Type A. In fact, I never have my cell phone on. I figure the phone is for MY convenience, so all calls go to voicemail. People know email is my primary form of communication. Most people are missing balance in their lives. To that end, I am working towards getting the city in which I live to make illegal cell phones on the beach.  I would love to find a way to make them illegal on the perimeter of the island where I live - a gorgeous place where people walk pets, run, and just walk and socialize with others while enjoying the beautiful flowers and lovely boats in the harbor. Such a pity people use the phone when they could be taking in all the natural beauty.

Must admit though, I do like that dog-barking ring tone.

Cart before the horse of course, but what about an app that would make the iPhone more affordable?  I love the techno stuff, however the iPhone will remain a fantasy for me.

$299 + monthly contract fee + $ per app = REALITY

EKA -

Lena, I rarely use a cell phone ( I have a work studio at home ) so I have an iTouch iPod … same as an iPhone, without the phone or monthly fee. It works with the wifi in my house so I can browse and check my email anywhere in the house.

Also, most of the good apps are free.

Thank you EKA!  I plan to check that out today—good looking out for a budget challenged sister.

I am just now learning all the gadgets that my current cell phone has. I think it is the Motorola Razor….not even sure. I bought it because it was pink. My kids have the fancier phones. iPhone is what my daughter has. I am happy with just having a pink phone that I can take pictures with and send them to my computer or to others.

My kids really want iPhones and I keep telling them that they’re lucky they have any phones!

I use my phone mostly to text my kids and husband (I have the Rumor in green - what else? :). I like having a phone with me when I am out but I prefer not to use it, if that makes sense.

I have absolutely no interest in an iPhone, but I would buy one in a nanosecond if it had an App for a decent job.  That’s my fantasy.

How about an app so I wouldn’t need my glasses every time I do anything with the phone!
