What Mary Wells Could Learn From Michelle Obama
In response to: Do you remember who spoke at your college commencement?
Commencement address? I left college a year before graduating. They gave me an honorary degree though some years later. I would think any of the wOw women would make a perfect address. I would also enjoy Michelle Obama, who is speaking to students in hopes that she will help them stalk their dreams. I would love to hear what she would say to me right now, today, at this time in my life. She has a joyous vitality that would give her a different view of me than any one has ever had and I would love to know it.

Thanks for sharing this perspective, Ms Wells. I especially enjoyed the observation about Michelle Obama’s "joyous vitality." I have absolutely no recollection of who spoke at my graduation but I am positive that if it had been someone as dynamic and remarkable as Ms. Obama, not even that old thief…..time…..would have been able to dim the memory.
I believe that the First Lady will continue to inspire Americans young and old. She is a national treasure.
