I could see that, you both have a way of putting the in your face brassy edge in the way you portray yourselves. A bit of humor with an edge that brings your point across.
It would depend on what stage of your life the actress was portraying but…I would say Katharine Heigl could do a good job of your 20-40 years. After 40 I wouldl say you should portray yourself. You are 39 aren’t you?
Who could play you in a movie….I’m thinking Charlize Theron. She has the same kind of beauty. Or if not Charlize, someone whose ‘brother’ took first place in their father’s life.
You’re putting us on or being poltically correct in your choice of Whoopi. I’d go for Gwenyth Paltrow or Nicolle Kidman. Probably the latter as VB did. I have just loved you in Murphy Brown and adored you on Bosotn Legal. I have used the info. in the episode re: PTSD and Beta Blockers. I’m a mental health therapist.
I have thought about this and looking back at your career I can see where she could have easily been cast as the characters you have ben cast as. With one exception. That character in The Adventurers which would have become a comedy if not outright camp with Whoopi playing the role of the doomed-in-love heiress.
Actually, Sandra Bullock would not be a bad choice to play *Candice.* Same kind of wry sense of humor and tough beauty. (they were in the movie: "Ms. Congeniality" together already : )

An Older Sandra Bulock, she could bring the humor and emotion needed to portray the hell and heaven of my life.
