Candice Bergen Does Not Worry

Candice Bergen
I am overprivileged. I do not worry about it. And now with this administration, I don’t worry about where my money will be spent.

I used to worry about that but, under the new administration I feel President Obama has our best intest at heart.  He is doing the best he can with the mess that was left for him to clean up.  I was in Italy when the results came in and the Italians were dancing in the streets with joy with the results.  I was very proud of being an American.

Candice & Terri, I agree with you both.  Hooray for our Italian brethren (I’m half Italian, my husband is a sparky Italian/Sicilian, both of us born here).  We’re not what you would call privileged, but we’re supporting our president through the long haul.  To do otherwise would be counterproductive.

Great for you Candice…not all of us are in the same position.  Also I believe that it is those trusting attitudes that gets us in trouble. I hope you realize that if we deposited 1 million dollars into an account at the time of Christ’s birth, you still would not have enough to pay for the stimulus package. (2,008 years x 365 days x $1M = $732.92 Billion).  A trillion is a million million!!!!

Did you feel the same way when the past administration put us so deep in the hole.  At least, money is being spent to benefit us all, not just those who have.  Part of not worrying is because of trust in the new Administration.  Maybe try a little more believing and a little less cynicism.

I’ve felt this way since Clinton’s administration.  The rich get richer, the poor get taken care of, and the middle class keeps paying for it all.  Something has got to give.  I for one would not want to be in charge of our U.S. today. We can only pray for more watchful and caring people to be in charge. Terrie, thanks for your advice.
