The program worked for my family.  My mother in law was given great care and with no income coming in after retirement and  paying into Social Security she was grateful for medicare.  She had the supplement with her job working for Macy’s for 25 years which helped her pay for all the co-pays.

We gave millions on dollars to bailout failed businesses when we should of put that money into the medicare & social security system.  We baby boomers worked all our lives and never ask for hand outs.  Now that we are in trouble the first place they look to take away is social security & medicare.  Yet the younger generation in many articiles complain that they are supporting us thru SS.  If the past governments did not borrow from SS we would be in great shape.  The government mismanged and now seniors have to pay the price.  No cost of living increase when billion dollar bonuses were given out.  Give me a break.
