I, too, love the PBS show with Gwyneth, Mario, Mark and Claudia. They look like they are having a ball doing it. If any of you are interested in food, you should look at Mark Bittman’s blog Bitten. He is the food writer for the NY Times and his blog is great. He occasionally has videos of him doing recipes and they are always easy and fabulous. His cookbook is great, too.

Fun slide show….Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow are beautiful, classy women with great minds and hearts. Blythe and Gena Rowlands are two of my favorite actresses. My son and I are separated by 17 years and everyone has always said we look like twins. We’ve often been mistaken for brother-sister and our relationship has been a little like that since the day he was born. Just a very special relationship. Love, admire, respect and am very proud of him. He has lived a singularly classy life. Wonderful to see the beautiful and elegant Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow after a VERY SORRY week on wow. The Owners of Wow need to decide if they want to have integrity or roll in the sewer with the likes of Coulter….a real scumball who has done so much to ruin this nation, cheerlead for war, and diminish all the good that American stands for. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON WOW.

I find this thread or post whatever to be meaningless. I don’t care (but I guess you do) that celebritey moms and their celeb offspring are noteworthy cause they do what their parents did? I’m not getting it here.

Wow, Beyonce’s mum is stunning. In that natural, aged-like-a-fine-wine sorta way. Whyyy does Debbie Reynolds look YOUNGER than her daughter? And Joan Rivers needs to share a phone number or two with poor Melissa because clearly they do NOT have the same surgeon. I had more to say, then I realized almost all of it was in a similarly cruel critique as what I just posted, so…shutting up now.

What’s “uncanny”? That a daughter should look very much like her mother? I would find it uncanny if a daughter looked more like the lady that lives next door or a school classmate.

I always felt it would be interesting to see what the parents of our most beautiful people looked like. The older I get the more I look like a 25 year old Tyrone Power, and sound like Vic Damone at his peak…..But no one cares!

I saw Debbie Reynolds in Boston when she toured with “The Unsinkable Molly Brown. She was up there in age at the time…gave an unbelievable performance..dancing, singing, acrobatics…WOW..she continues to entertain with her good humor, and interest in life. I loved her appearance with Tracey Ulman on HBO…an hour of good fun!
