I will add my voice to the chorus for Kevin Costner, with this: I believe that more than any other actor working today, Costner respects working with actresses of a similar age or older than him. Look at the roster of leading ladies, which includes Susan Sarandon, Sissy Spacek, Mary McDonnell, Renee Russo, Annette Bening, Sela Ward and Joan Allen.

I have to agree on  the selection of  Bruce Springsteen as one of the sexiest men alive. I’ve been following him for 30 plus years and he still takes my breath away. 

Harrison Ford. What a handsome ,sexy older man  and  he looks nice in a suit or jeans. I think he has nice hair too!

Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood are my top picks. Smoldering sexuality.

Stipulating that "sexy" is more than mere looks, and the compendium of qualities that go into that stew are individual and extemely subjective, I have to say that, though not all of them do it for me personally, I can see at least a certain appeal about most of the gentelmen on this list (with a few notable and glaring exceptions).  However, I feel compelled to comment on a few omissions.  The fact that Tom Selleck isn’t included seems to be a matter of some outrage to a number of people, and I have to jump on that bandwagon.  (If he had Patrick Stewart’s voice, he’d be a 10.)  Sam Elliott?  Oh, yeah!  (Put him and Tom in the same movie, and don’t bother me until it’s over, upon pain of severe tongue-lashing.  I want to point out that my 24-year-old daughter-in-law feels the same way, by the bye!)  Sly Stallone I have to agree with, too, and Travolta — though I’ve not really thought of him as particularly sexy, he’s a major talent and thoroughly enjoyable.  But one omission that stood out, to me, and which no one else seems to have mentioned, is Ricardo Montalban!  I realize we lost him in January, but he was still around when this list was published.  More than sexy, the man had serious class, and always conducted his personal life with dignity (which, heaven knows, cannot be said of a number of people who did get included — Keith Richards and Bill Clinton leap immediately to mind).  "Class" is part of my own personal sexy-ometer.  You can’y make my list without it!

I had a lot of ideas of sexy men. Then I met Steven Tyler on many occassions and a man who I once thought looked awkward to me is now captivating. When he looks at you he looks straight into your soul, so he’d be my vote. He’s 61 and still hot as ever!!!
