wowOwow was front-row at Diane von Furstenberg’s private runway show Wednesday night. That’s right! The queen of the fashion world presented a unique runway show that featured clothes from her upcoming Spring “Rock Goddess” collection. The event, hosted by André Leon Talley (Vogue’s editor-at-large), was an exclusive show for American Express cardholders. Proceeds from Wednesday night’s ticket sales were donated to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, a program which supports emerging fashion designers. For the design legend, Diane von Furstenberg, it was a poignant night to showcase a collection that was a homage to a late mentor and friend, Diana Vreeland, a former Vogue editor.
