Ahhh! Me too, Diana. It’s a dreary rainy day outside at my house. But I have no reason to get out into it. I cleaned most of the day yesterday, so I’m planning to snuggle up and (finally!) read Joan Didion’s “Year of Magical Thinking”. My favorite way to spend a day. Enjoy your weekend!

So this is what I came back for? Sweaters? Seriously? Okay, mine are all black turtlenecks (so I won´t need a scarf). The last time I bought one was two years ago. I have no intention of buying one any time soon. The ones shown in the photos above I find … well … how shall I put this? … not really attractive. Neither the colors, nor the design. Just because they´re expensive doesn´t make them beautiful.

Jane, I didn’t think they were attractive, either. The cashmere indoor/outdoor coat reminded me of the fireproof coat my dad wore on his job as a firefighter, & the Hermes cardigan looked like a high-school “letter sweater”. The model wasn’t wearing the right bra for the silk-wool blend t-shirt. Okay, I’m done carping. I love sales cashmere sweaters. they’re warm & elegant (as long as they aren’t in weird styles or patterns), & when they’ve been worn ragged, I wear them to bed on frigid Midwestern nights.

Did anyone notice the orbs in photo’s 1, 2 and 4? Seems as though she had spiritual company! Wonder is that is an old building she is in.
