being an avid ‘snorkeler’/diver’, mostly Maui, i don’t see any reefs near off-shore—-the Caribbean has the best visibility on earth—-up to a Mile! Hawaii waters are very good, but enough algae to limit you to 200 meters, or so—-but from Lahaina, fabulous reefs are only a bit away—-sometimes 2 meters—-i wonder if any have tried Belize? if you go to Maui, stick to the reefs right off-shore from the condo complex, The Mahana—-a very pop-spot is ‘Olawalu’—-dangerous—-Never leave a ‘group’—-the reef is wonderful, but you have 10 meter+ ‘drop-offs’—-and that is where the Tiger Sharks ‘bide-their-time’ for a solitary fool—-and they ‘ambush’ them with regular frequency—-you may have read of a few—-bad for tourism—-you don’t hear much of those who just ‘vanish’—-from you pix, i see no tropical reefs—-thanks

Ahhhh! Mary…thank you so much for these beautiful photos. I can close my eyes and, thanks to the glimpses you’ve given me, dream myself there in Parrot Cay. Nothing but lovely.
