What impressed me more than all the pictures of their clothes was the photo of them helping out at a food bank. Their parents have gone up a notch in my (admittedly already high) admiration of them because they involved the kids in charitable work. I think it’s good to involve kids in charitable work as soon as they understand what’s going on. Each year, I buy a shopping bag full of books for the Toys for Tots barrel at my favorite mall. Most years, I dragged along my neice or nephew to help me pick out age-appropriate books. Last year, I started out my four-year old great niece, taking her to the bookstore to help me choose “little girl” books. Bravo to the Obamas for raising considerate, helpful children.

Mellow Malia and Spunky Sasha, growing up in the White House surrounded by the love of their parents and grandmother, are already creating memories that will influence the course of their lives. And, lucky for us, we’ll be able to watch these two adorable girls grow up.

What fun to have “youth” in the W.H. I bet we will see these two girls blossom in real beauties.

They are adorable, spunky, really with-it girls. J. Crew Loves them! Malia cracked me up at the Youth Inaugural. She is so engaged and engaging and was singing along with Miley and just so cute. Where’s our First Puppy?! What do we bet they ‘find’ the pup on Valentine’s Day.

I am looking forward to watching the First Daughters grow up. It appears they are well grounded and the press will enjoy covering them (hopefully from a distance). What a beautiful family!

Thy are such well-behaved young children and oh, so pretty. I am enjoying the idea of children again in the White House. I think they are dressed so beautifully and appropriately for their ages and they seem as sweet and kind as they are pretty. Their parents have done quite a job and may I say, I am so pleased they have their grandmother with them to add to the continuity.

The girls are so adorable and so relaxed; not at all bothered by all the attention they are getting. It is such fun seeing pictures of them, and watching them grow will be a treat for all of us. They will both become real beauties as they get older.

I think they are so cute…….well behaved, yet very normal acting with all the attention they get. NO spoiled brats here. My granddaughter stopped by tonight after she got off work for a few minutes, She said “Isn’t it wonderful Grandma to see two young people so in Love and affectionate with each other” (Meaning our President and our First Lady). I feel like someone Just opened a Big Door that has been closed for the past 8 years and let in a sweet air to breath again. I also feel more like an American where we are not only FREE but should always feel that way. I haven’t felt free for a long time. Thank you God for our New President and his wonderful family to heal our Country and enrich our lives.
