What great photos! On Monday our 20 year old cat passed away…she had a wonderful long life and went in her sleep. We were proud to be owned by her…as we are owned by our three spoiled dogs!

LOVE IT! Thank you Wowowow for the opportunity to share our critters with everyone. (I will post some of my little family members later.)

I send condolences to you, JB. I know all too well the pain of saying good-bye. It is so therapeutic and such a blessing that your dogs are there to help you with the difficult transition. I totally agree with your assessment of our status with the animals …..they definitely own us! And spoiling them is one of life’s greatest joys.

Cute pictures … lately I’m spending more time with animals than human beings, so it’s nice to know I’m not alone. J B; so sorry to hear about your kitty; they really are a special part of our lives, aren’t they?

Thank You…I was not a “cat person” until I inherited her through marriage…and there she was, at that time weighing 23 pounds…all of it attitude. The last few months, her weight dropped off, and for the last month of her life, I cooked for her every day…anything to get her to eat. She loved ground beef, scrambled eggs with cheese, shredded pork, grilled fish. The vet said to give her whatever she would eat. The dogs would just look at me like..”Really? You’re cooking for the old woman and we’re getting kibble? Really?” She would eat and with a lift of the tail in their direction, retreat to her place on our couch. Even the 127 pound Rottweiler bowed to her. She will be missed.

JB…Feeling your pain. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet but I know your kitty was so happy to have married into your family! All of the pictures are so cute! I will try to send some of mine as they have always been tops in my life. Had my own business so they always followed along and were the directors of PR!

I realize that political commentary seems to increase input from the readers. I truly adore viewing these wonderful critters that make our life joyful. Thanks.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous……… BUT please spare a thought for the not so fortunate ones all over the world , eg here : http://turkeymassacre.wordpress.com/ There are kind, thoughtful people trying to help but as usual it’s a drop in the ocean……

I just lost my 4 lb. yorkie , he had gone out to use the bathroom and a coyote got him, I turned on the light and called him ant the coyote dropped him about 50 ft. from our house but he was already dead. I am heart broken, he was like my child. I don’t want another pet. I don’t think I could take losing another one. Brenda Yates
