Although I am basically not a celebrity hound, I really like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I was totally taken aback one night a few years ago when I saw Brad on Charlie Rose. It was a show about architecture, yes artchitecture, and he smart, passionate and knew what he was talking about. I was VERY impressed ! I have since learned that he is very involved in new homes that have been “smart - ecofriendly” designed for displaced citizens in New Orleans. This man is much more like Paul Newman than Tom Cruise. I think Angelina is one of the most beautiful women alive today, and I admire her work with the UN. This is not a frivolous couple . I hope their relationship is like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s, long and solid

Sometimes I get so caught up in her glamor and humanitarianism that I forget what a damn good actor she actually is. I SO want to see this movie - her performance looks stellar!

Clint Eastwood said that people forget what a fine actor she is because of how beautiful she is. I think he is probably right.

Now if women were to “hate” someone because of looks, “hot” guy, and great job, she would be first in line. Yet we think she is great, because she does it right.

What an incredible couple. I admire them completely, and agree about the Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward comparison.

While no one really knows what was going on with Brad and Jennifer Pitt’s marriage, the bottom line is Brad was married when he started carrying on with Angelina. I found it so strange that Angie would have an affair with a married man because of her outspoken anger with her father for having cheated on her mom. I find the double-standard interesting. They sold photos of all their natural-born children and I find that morally repugnant, and I don’t care that their excuse is that they were giving the money to their own charity. (And it is not just them, I think anyone who would make money off their children are lacking in sense.) Bottom line — I don’t watch their movies. While my little bit doesn’t do squat to hurt them financially, makes me feel better.

This movie is based on a true story that happened in Pasadena, Ca. - her performance is outstanding!!! Luckily for all of Los Angeles County there is now a charity - Find the Children in Santa Monica that had it been in existance at the time of the real event, they would have been there to help.
