The Whitney Museum of American Art Annual Gala: Donatella Versace Hosts Mariah Carey, Patrick Dempsey, Sting and Others (Photos)

Photo Essay

The Whitney Museum of American Art’s annual gala took place this year on October 20. The star-studded and much-anticipated yearly event at the New York City museum was hosted by Donatella Versace. Donatella was in attendance along with her glitz, her glamour and an array of celebrity friends, including Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Nigel Barker, Frederik Fekkai, Cathie Black, Sting and Versace’s heartthrob spokesmodel, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey, among others. wOw’s Robin Platzer was on hand to capture all the excitement with her camera.

Donatella Versace and Mariah Carey are freaks, surgically altered and artificial. Look at the look on Dempsy’s face ” I sure hope they’re paying me a whole lot to be here” Was that catty? , oh sorry.

No, no! Don’t tell me. Sting was looking at that stunning Christina Ricci when our own Robin Platzer (is it Ms., Mrs. Miss or Mister?) snapped that breathtaking expression. Good work, Platzer! Keep it up! Keep ‘em coming! I hope the event was a success.
