Bookplates..?! What a lovely sort of Wind in the Willows flashback…such a good idea! Somebody here told me how to drop in the avatars..I read about your difficulty with them at one point..I had trouble with it. This is a hand-me-down Apple, loaded up with all sorts of stuff from my brother who is a graphics whiz. So I just tripped, stumbled and fell into a zillion icons…I will aspire to have one of my own devising one fine day. Have just lately realized we are able to pull up each contributors “archive” so I spent some time today reading your posts..A good read…Thanks..

Georgia fatwood: Just glanced at your home page. You’re a riot. Sort of a funny James Joyce of the new-to-the-Internet set, to which I can completely relate. Your daughter-in-law’s “whole paycheck” line is great … and so many more. Just a thought: You’re not alone in here. A back-and-forth is possible, but it takes some effort. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our dog-lovin’ hearts …(those would be mine and my Goldie’s)… for all the handsome photos of you and your dogs. We loved the llama’s, too, and the cat-on-stump. The spidie…uh, not so much. As for the overbalance of dogs (which, we, personally, favor), my Russian Blue cat, Lord of the Manor, says to tell you “Pffffft”.

Love to see what animals other people have, thank you so much for sharing! Lots of dogs there… almost had to close to door to the den so that my cats wouldn’t see the dogs! My cats don’t like dogs - I do, have always wanted one. Not possible though because of my work and the crazy working schedule I have. Sometimes, or rather often, I wish I did have a dog…. a lot calmer than the cats. They, my hooligan-cats, often “walk on my nerves” as they are so many….

Candice- LOL! Who told you that Phyllis is part Bichon and King Charles Spaniel? She looks way to big for that. Love the pics…even the spider. Liz- in case you didn’t read my joke: Why did the cowboy buy a dachshund? Because someone told him to get a long little doggie.

Deni- I think you are right! Poor Candice doesn’t know what kind of dogs she has but I’m sure they are well loved! The poodle/golden mix just can’t be right.

Deni, I agree with you. Size alone is a give away. But there is a DNA test to see who their ancestors really are!
