Mary Wells’s Will: ‘Changes as Life Changes’

My will changes as life changes. I used to have a long list of people I cared a lot about who I knew liked certain possessions of mine, so I left those items to them in my will. As years went by, the people died or the possessions broke or the idea of giving them to anyone became silly so I gave up that idea. There are times when I am richer and times when I am poorer. So I have learned to simplify and my will is very simple and doesn’t change now – or only for a very serious reason.
