Ingmar Guandique has been flown to Washington, DC, and officially charged for the 2001 murder of Chandra Levy.
Guandique, 27, had been in a California prison for assault when cops listed him as the prime suspect in 24-year-old Levy’s death in Rock Creek Park. Levy’s disappearance eight years ago captivated the nation, especially because many fingers pointed at then-Representative Gary Condit, with whom Levy had been having an affair. She was, at the time of her death, an intern at the FBI.
Guandique will make his first court appearance today, The New York Times reports.
