Ahead of 40th Anniversary, Sharon Tate Killer Charles Manson Shows His Face

Charles Manson is showing his face — from the inside of his California prison cell, that is.
The man who helped kill seven people in August 1969, including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, is now 74 years old. California corrections officials released a new photo of him, that shows him balding with a gray beard. But he still has that easily recognizable swastika on his forehead. The latest photo comes ahead of the 40th anniversary of the "Manson Family" killings. Manson was last denied parole in May of 2007, since he "continues to pose an unreasonable danger to others and may still bring harm to anyone he would come in contact with."
Manson and the "Manson Family" — Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Charles "Tex" Watson and Leslie Van Houten — were convicted of murder and other charges after a two-night killing spree aimed at inciting a race war. All of them are still in prison. Atkins, California’s longest-serving female inmate who wrote "PIG" in blood on Tate’s front door years ago, last summer requested a "compassionate release" from prison since she is terminally ill. She was denied.
As for Manson — he still has those dead, chilling eyes.

"I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something."
-Charles Manson
(Can’t deny there is some truth in it.)
