Ann Coulter Rejected Sean Penn Movie Offer

Most women would leap at the opportunity to spend some time with Sean Penn, but not Ann Coulter.
The conservative author turned down Penn’s invitation to appear in a movie about Valerie Plame, the former CIA agent outed by Robert Novak. Naomi Watts will star as Plame, while Penn appears as her husband, Joe Wilson.
According to the New York Post, Penn wanted Coulter to appear in a scene and shout "invectives" at him, but she declined because, in all likelihood, the movie would paint her as a raving right winger. Art imitating life or just a left-leaning film trying to make Coulter look like a fool?

"left-leaning film trying to make Coulter look like a fool"…and she is smart enough to see through his foolishness!
He give me the creeps personally….
Of course she turned it won. This is a story about how Republican White House officials treasonously betrayed a secret CIA program called Brewster Jennings that tracked the black market for old Soviet nuclear weapons parts and materials and other WMD. That they did this within two years after 9/11 and for no other reason than to settle a political score for Cheney ought to make the blood boil of everyone who loves this country and values our security.
Coulter couldn’t participate because she was in the right wing media crowd that applauded this act of treason by Cheney, Armitage, Rove and Libby.
Mary: Ann Coulter probably laughed herself silly at the suggestion.
The last thing Ann Coulter needs is anything from Sean. A better choice for Penn might be a Chavez sister, if he has one.
One thing about Coulter…she can cut to the chase and back it up with facts. She is so funny….beating the libs at their own hateful comedic game.
They hate when that happens!
Conservatives don’t have senses of humor. They’re born without funny bones. Everybody knows that. What they find funny is making fun of minorities and women, but that hasn’t been considered humorous since well before Bob Hope died.
Right wingers also can’t do satire because satire is about poking fun at the rich and powerful, whom conservatives worship.
Best line on this was Arianna’s. Someone asked her when she wised up and switched from conservative to liberal. She said, "It was a long time ago — back when Dennis Miller was funny."
Oh Rudi…it just that the libs have to have everything exaggerated for them…their humor….the political views….their behavoirs…they don’t get subtle.
Satire is about pointing out the extreme characterists of a subject, Rudi. Don’t let that nasty class envy color your understanding….
You want to hear jokes about women and minorities? Look up Richared Pryor…but you bring up Bob Hope! How old are you? I think that you are a bit out of touch there…try Comedy Central…you’ll get your fill of race and gender bashing.
Arianna is a one trick pony. But you can ride her as long as you like.
Deb, You sure have a way with the words. You are right Coulter doesn’t need help in making her look like a fool, she does a great job with her silly rhetoric. Her latest book seemed to miss the mark; sales were sluggish.
