Welcome Bo, the White House Dog! (Photos)

Our tails wag a warm ‘hello’ to Bo, the latest edition to the Obama family.

Photo Essay

The first family’s new dog, Bo, officially moves into his new home today. From the looks of these photographs, he’ll fit right in with the president, Michelle and, most importantly, the first daughters, Sasha and Malia. The six-month-old Portuguese water dog doesn’t shed (a wise choice for daughter Malia who has allergies) and shares genes with Sen. Ted Kennedy’s two pups, Sunny and Splash. Here, wowOwow welcomes Bo with a photo essay as grand as a big bone. Check back often because we will add more pictures as they become available.

The kids better be careful as it looks like Daddy and the dog have bonded already and have a lot of fun together.  They may have to get another dog for the kids and leave Bo to the President.

The dog looks cute and I’m sure all the family will enjoy it…looks like the Prez has taken a shine to it already and getting in some leg work.

Before you gang up on me for criticizing…I’m a dog lover.  I have a 3 year old Lab..I know what they will be going through!

He may have gone to obedience training but he is STILL a puppy!

Not to nitpick, but there is a mistake on the Sasha’s age in the photo essay.  It says she’s 4, she’s 7.

I’m sure everyone is glad the puppy is home!  It’ll be fun for the family since they are all new to pet ownership.  Aww! pupppppies!

And speaking of errors…..

The title should have read, "…latest addition to the Obama family."

You can’t rely on spell-check to correct everything, you know.

Oh - so they just revised the whole title of this article.

Whoops - scratch. No they did NOT revise the subtitle……"edition" is still there. I know, petty of me. It’s just that lately I’ve been finding so many grammatical and punctuation errors [not only on this website].
