Candice Bergen
Unless there’s another, better solution … support the guy. What choice do we have?

I will stand by and support Pres. Obama.  I do have a problem with every business small and large reaching their hands out and basically saying gimme, gimme, gimme.  The stimulus money will only go so far.  As a small business owner or the CEO of major companies it is up to them to come up with long range and short range plans for recovery of that business.  In business as in the average American home it is time to make a budget and stick to it.  The time of over spending and extra perks is over.  Yes, we have choices it is "our" money via taxes be given out in stimulus dollars.  We can make our voices heard but still be supportive.  It is all in how you say it.

Candice  you are so right we need to support and also voice opinions.  So far I like what Obama has done especially the way he handled the Captain situation in Somolia.  We need to get back to what this country was founded on and that was making things.  Cars, Steel, Tobbacco & Cotton.  We need the jobs the door was open to wide to China and we foolishly depend on another country.  Where did we go wrong?

I agree we as a nation have to support him….not like we can make a change about the fact he’s president at this point….instead of putting all  that negative picking on everything little thing why don’t we all come togher and put all that energy in supporting him…..people need to wake up and understand that the problem he’s dealing with right now didn’t happen over night and WILL NOT resolve themselves over night…!!!

I also agree that this country must take aggressive actions to correct the economic disaster we’re in and I do support Mr. Obama. But I also enjoy the fact I can voice my opinion about his policies and not be considered "anti-American", or told "you’re either with us or against us", blah, blah, blah. I still hold to the belief that more money needs to be given directly to us rather than filtered through Wall Street and banking institutions. However, he has assumed simply unimaginable burdens of righting our ship in world-wide public opinion, global economics, dire environmental issues and ever-increasing mayhem and discord around the globe. I think he must be tuned into a higher source helping him find the strength to deal with the BS world of politics.
