Dear Mr. President …
Mr. wOw recently had some advice for Gov. Palin. Now, he’s back with a few words for Obama.

Recently, Mr. wOw felt compelled to advise the beleaguered and annoying governor of Alaska and her smart-ass annoying critics – please shut up!
Now I fear I must offer the same rude two words to our president, whom I admire greatly: Enough already with whining about the bad rap you get at FOX News! So what?
Mr. wOw does not agree, as per Fox, that the entire media is "in the tank" for Obama – and wait till the press turns on him, it’ll be super ugly. But surely President Obama is buoyed up enough in general that FOX should be no more of an annoyance than that fly he famously swatted and crushed.
As with jumping on Mrs. Palin, Obama’s citing what he sees as a negative slant on FOX only empowers them. The entire evening lineup – Beck, O’Reilly, Hannity, van Susteren – is then up in arms, hackles raised, defending themselves and … dissing Obama even more. (While claiming the highly amusing "fair and balanced" bit. Well, it’s their mantra and they’re sticking to it!)
Barack Obama was elected despite FOX. That should say something to our thin-skinned commander in chief. Something like – turn the other cheek and … make yourself available to every "enemy" on Rupert Murdoch’s network. In Mr. wOw’s opinion the first thing Barack should have done, seconds after his Inauguration, was invite Sean Hannity to the Oval Office for a cozy one-on-one. No, Hannity’s enmity wouldn’t have thawed, but think of the fun Obama would have had, knowing Sean was just hating being in the room with him; still as a journalist summoned for an interview, Hannity had to do his duty.
Get over wanting everybody to love you, Mr. President. It can’t be done. After all, you don’t love everybody. Mr. wOw doubts you even like most of the media that has been so supportive. Adoration can breed contempt.

Obama fights his addiction with cigarettes every day and that is something that can not only kill him but his wife, kids and anyone else he chooses to smoke around. My hubby’s lung Dr advised him 2nd hand smoke is worse then smoking…
Obama wanted the job so he got it…So why is he complaining about it? He wanted it, he campaigned very hard to get it, we voted him in, so WHY NOW does he feel it necessary to complain, should he not be happy that he has a job and makes $400K a year, maybe he should give up his annual salary, I am sure he is making enough off his book sales to live and he is living rent free and car payment free and so forth, so give up your annual salary, buy food for food banks, buy clothes for those kids going back to school in the fall who wont have new clothes, donate some to keep families in their homes, but I am sure that would never happen.
Obama hasnt cleaned up anything yet…what has he cleaned up, in your opinion…
Patricia M,
I never knew bush was a cokehead and alcoholic ! … He was in his 40’s when he stopped! … This is news ! … I did not know he’s a former JUNKIE !
I knew he was a thug when he stole the presidency from Gore and that laura bush Killed a kid while driving under the influence while chatting and not paying attention to the road.
DeBurca…if you go through the earlier posts there were a couple of posters talking about him being secretly gay, and the guy he had a relationship with being shot….I kid you not, this is the latest grumbling, and yes, they are running out of thingst talk about.
CHardy..I don’t hear Obama complaining about anything, he’s not complaining…the Fox "News" crowd complains about him and the choices he’s made. I am certainly not complaining about him. I don’t have a problem with him at all. As far as what he’s "cleaned up"…it took 20 years of dems and repubs (especially the Bush folks) to get us in this mess, it certainly will not be "cleaned up" in 6 months…it probably won’t happen in the next 4 years, it takes A LOT to rebuild an economy. Obama has the vision to take this country in the direction it needs to go to be a global leader again. I find it funny that you think Obama should give up his salary to help others…really???? Do you have ANY idea how much $$ Dubya comes from or how much $$ his family’s OIL ties have…it could feed and clothe a small country or at the very least the poor people in Texas.
Patricia, I never said anything about Bush, yes he should have given up his pay also but you see he isn’t President anymore Obama is so I am concentrating on our current President. I never said Obama’s job was easy but he has complained, almost all his speeches he refers to the mess left to him by the previous administration, OK we get it, give it up, you WON, move on with the job.
I dont care about the gay rumors, if he is oh well, like I said before. Every President is put down and taken through the clothes wash and Obama is no different. I dont expect this mess our Country is in to be cleaned up within 6 months, those words have never been written or said by me.
What is wrong w/ Obama giving up his $400K a year salary? Really? I think it would show Americans that could really use that money Obama cares, and again I think Bush should have done it.
Factcheck…Dem ads on Healthcare
"
Pushing for a Public Plan June 23, 2009 Two liberal groups ramp up their efforts in support of a major health care overhaul. Summary Liberal groups have hit TV and radio with ads praising the idea of a public health insurance plan, an option that President Obama and other Democrats support as part of changes to the health care system. But the ads lack context and could well mislead the public:Separately, a radio ad from MoveOn.org Political Action attacks Democratic Sen. Landrieu for opposing a public plan. The radio ad implies that Landrieu is influenced by "$1.6 million in campaign contributions from the health care industry." But that figure is both inflated and misleading. It includes donations from insurance companies that have nothing to do with health care. And it lumps together donations from health care groups and professionals on both sides of the issue."

President Barack Obama addressed the American Medical Association during their annual meeting in Chicago, Monday, June 15, 2009. (AP Photo/Charles Rex Arbogast) (CNSNews.com) - A New York Times/CBS News poll released Saturday that showed broad bipartisan support for President Obama’s health care reform, over-sampled Obama voters compared to McCain voters, critics say.
The poll, administered June 12-16, found that 72 percent of respondents favored the creation of a government health-insurance plan that would compete with private insurers.
It also said 50 percent of respondents thought the government would do a better job providing medical coverage than private insurers, up from 30 percent in 2007; and that 59 percent thought the government would be better at holding down costs, up from 47 percent two years ago.
But critics including pollster Kellyanne Conway say the results are inaccurate because they are heavily skewed toward those who voted for Obama in the 2008 presidential election.
In addition, other indicators point toward a repeat of the defeat Hillary Clinton’s proposed government-run faced in the early ‘90’s.
Out of 895 respondents, 24 percent were Republicans, 38 percent Democrats, and 38 percent were independents, according to a June 20 release from CBS News. While the release says the sampling was conducted at random, those numbers are significantly below the 32.6 percent who identify themselves as Republican according to a May survey from the nonpartisan Rasmussen Reports.
Similarly, the Times/CBS poll said 48 percent of respondents had voted for Obama, versus 25 percent for McCain, a nearly two-to-one advantage for Obama supporters.
Had those results been reflected in the November presidential election, Obama would have garnered 66 percent of the vote to McCain’s 34 percent, Conway, president & CEO of "the polling company," told CNSNews.com.
"Was the vote 66-34? You tell me," Conway said.
In 2008, Obama won 53 percent of the vote, McCain won 46 percent.
Conway said that the poll was skewed toward Democrats and Obama supporters because the Times and CBS made it so.
"Their original result was more in line (with other non-partisan polling for party identification) but they weighted those numbers," Conway charged.
The random information gathered by the two media outlets originally saw fewer independents and Democrats, but their polling methodology saw those numbers shift at the expense of Republican representation. Conway called this a case of "a conclusion in search of evidence."
Janet Elder, editor for news surveys and election analysis at The New York Times, defended the poll’s methodology.
"Although some polling organizations do, The New York Times/CBS News poll does not weight by party ID," she told CNSNews.com. "We weight by characteristics that are known from census data."
Scott Rasmussen, founder and CEO of Rasmussen Reports, a nonpartisan pollster, defended the veracity of the Times/CBS News poll — but found it difficult.
"We have absolutely no idea what their weighting process is and what their technique is," he told CNSNews.com. "I believe that they did not make adjustments based on party (identification). I believe they go on other factors and simply report what comes out of that."
Elder said in 19 out of every 20 cases, the results using their technique "will differ by no more than 3 percentage points in either direction" of the outcome they would have had if they’d sought to interview "all American adults."
But Conway says the over-sampling of Democrats was consistent throughout the poll.
"Show me the other polls that are that low," she said. "If you look at the way Scott (Rasmussen) reports things, they’re very different from The New York Times. The Census is taken every 10 years, so what are they looking at? The 2000 Census?"
"Almost nobody ever takes them to task for this, because they are CBS and the New York Times," Conway added. "It is true that more Americans are identifying themselves as Independents, but everyone is doing polling; no one (else) is getting these numbers," Conway said.
The Times ran an accompanying story on the front page of the Sunday edition with the headline "In Poll, Wide Support for Government Run Health." The findings were also reported by most other major outlets.
The Times article interpreted the poll results as indicating broad, bipartisan support for government involvement in health care.
"Americans overwhelmingly support substantial changes to the health care system," the article began, "and (they) are strongly behind one of the most contentious proposals Congress is considering, a government-run insurance plan to compete with private insurers."
But other key findings in the poll suggest, on the other hand, that Americans have not significantly changed their positions since the last time health-care reform was seriously considered by Congress, according to Conway.
"We are identical to where we were in 1993-94," she told CNSNews.com, "with only 51 percent of respondents even in the Democrat-skewing poll saying the health-care system needs fundamental changes, versus 52 percent in January 1994. When the question becomes whether the system needs to be completely rebuilt, 34 percent say yes in the NYT/CBS poll, versus 38 percent in 1994.
Additionally, the vast majority of Americans are satisfied with their own insurance coverage, as they were at the beginning of the Clinton administration. Approximately 77 percent in the current poll say they are at least somewhat satisfied.
Rasmussen points out that, in these areas, the Times/CBS poll was consistent with other polls.
"CBS, like everybody else, found that most people are satisfied with their health-care coverage," he said. "But they have qualms about the overall system. And that is the biggest single obstacle to reform: people do not want to change their own coverage."
Conway agreed. Because of their satisfaction with their own coverage, Americans are unlikely to rock the boat.
"The difference this year could be that Barack Obama is a more compelling messenger than Hillary Clinton." But, she added: "Americans can do the math."
They are hesitant to support the record expenditure it would take to pass sweeping health-care reform. Conway says.
"As they are deciding whether to take a vacation this summer or keep their child in private elementary school … they are asking to take a look at the ledger book now," she added.
Americans like the words "change" and "reform," she says, "but then they find out that you can’t define those." When they see the possibility of their own healthcare options changing, "(T)hey discover that their reform is not someone else’s reform."
Conway’s "the polling company," in conjunction with Americans for Tax Reform, is performing an audit of all numbers released on health-care reform, to be issued on Wednesday.
The Times/CBS poll reports a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. CBS did not return calls for comment.

Many clear-thinking Americans believe that Marxists are in control of our country — and that there is no reason to believe they will ever give up their power. The question at hand is: What can be done to remedy the situation we as a nation find ourselves in?
Dare to be a Daniel
The answer is clear. The strategy for survival of any society is repeated throughout the Holy Scriptures and must be applied today. We need to enlist this vital strategy to preserve America’s freedom and strength. People of faith need to persuade decent, patriotic, God-fearing Americans to turn their hearts to God and live in a manner worthy of His intervention.
Christians must dare to be a Daniel.
Daniel stood firm when facing what seemed to be insurmountable challenges and circumstances. Believe in your heart that America is still reclaimable. Like Daniel, we must set a godly example, and give primary emphasis to seeking God’s will in our own lives.
"We The People" must also take every opportunity to encourage others to do the same.
Because America was established by God to be a beacon of freedom, we must also promote peaceful, law-abiding citizen activism on an individual level. As our forefathers were ready to take on the responsibilities of "participatory" citizenship, so should those of us who demand nothing less than the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I believe God will hear the prayers and pleas of the humble and righteous who are willing to get on their knees and ask Him to spare our country.
Whole armor of God
If you are attending a church that does not have a daily Bible study guide to feed your soul, then it’s your responsibility to buy one. Make sure you purchase a study plan that is age-appropriate for your family.
We can no longer be complacent and unaware of our spiritual condition. Rededicate and revive your faith. Don’t become like the church of Laodicea. Listen to words of The Almighty. (See Revelation 3:14-21.) He offers you both praise and rebuke.
Many of God’s people feel worn and weary because they are not wearing the whole armor of God. Every day, we see our cherished liberties disappear. They are being stolen from us as we tremble unnecessarily. We know that, eventually, our pastors and the churches will be muzzled and undermined with unjust laws. Prepare yourself. Have a prayer on your lips to offer up to heaven.
Communist policies
Public hate and disdain for people of faith have been allowed to fester since this administration swept into Washington. In fact, it is promoted by the "progressive" ideologues within our legislative halls, public institutions, and the biased liberal media.
Excerpts from "Top 7 Marxist communist policies being implemented by Obama today," by Hal Licino (found at hubpages.com) —
‘Thy will be done’
The man in the White House is being unfaithful to his country and to God. President Barack Hussein Obama thinks only of his own earthly ambitions and pernicious ideology — Marxism. We are admonished to pray for our leaders. Please place the president and his full Cabinet on the top of your prayer list, and pray for God’s will to be done. (See Matt. 6:9-13.)
It is time for every born-again, traditional Christian to network. All churches should plan a day to bus into Washington, DC, for a full day of prayer and repentance before the Lord. Ask Him to once again set the "captives free" and "heal and restore our land":
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).
