Drew Peterson: 'There’s All Kinds of Evidence' That Proves I Didn't Kill My Wife (Video)

Drew Peterson is quite the self-assured piece of work.
The Illinois man charged with killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio, and whose fourth wife mysteriously disappeared, told "The Today Show" he believes he’ll be cleared of the charges.
In a phone interview from the Will County Jail in Joliet, IL, Peterson told Matt Lauer that he’ll "probably be found innocent" of the 2004 murder of Savio, and he blasted the grand jury that indicted him.
Savio was found dead in her dry bathtub shortly after she and Peterson divorced. Although the death was first ruled an accidental drowning, officials exhumed her body and later declared it murder. Peterson and Savio had two children, while Drew and fourth wife Stacy Peterson also had two. Stacy has been missing since October 2007; her family claims Drew killed her, but he insists she ran off with another man.
In yet another twist in the case, The Chicago Tribune reports that six days before Savio’s body was found, Drew Peterson’s lawyer prepared papers telling his client he had been subpoenaed and was to be deposed in their divorce fight. Peterson could have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars from the sale of their home and his bar, and Savio was seeking half of her ex-hubby’s police pension. But with Savio dead, Peterson got everything, including the couple’s children.
"I’m sure that’s what Peterson feared — mostly that she was going to take everything from him," Sue Doman, Savio’s sister, told the Tribune.

Shut up, Drew. You lying piece of sheet. I believe that there probably is someone for each person to share a life with. But what in the world did four women see in this pile of dung?
Throw him in a rat infested dungeon and throw away the key.
I believe Maggie, because women are hard wired to love and want to be protected and cared for. They give up their power too easily some times…
A dungeon? A dungeon with nice little rats to talk to? Nawwwwwww…..waterboard him for 20-40 sec. so that all those families can have some closure on the deaths of their beloved daughters and mothers……he’ll give up the details and save the taxpayers a ton of money and BS in the long run.
What cheek! He is qualified to say that the State of Illinois should revise the Grand Jury system?! Man… what a joke.
And why does he remind me Joey Buttafuoco (sp?)?
As a concerned citizen, I have followed this bizarre case closely!
Drew Peterson, innocent until proven guilty, thinks he is above not only the law, but also feels he is above the majority of us!
I will celebrate when he is found guilty!
IMO this guy is soooooooo guilty! What’s with these guys named Peterson? Wasn’t the ‘other’ Peterson’s wife named Stacey (Staci). Anyone remember that case? And, wasn’t the ‘other’ Peterson’s first name Drew? Please someone help me here.
If this guy didn’t do it himself, he paid someone to do it! His arrogance is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. I try to remind myself that "innocent until proven guilty", however, that escapes me! How in the name of Aunt Heidi’s Heiny did four women marry this piece of crap?
Throw him in a swamp filled with hungry Gators!
Deena —-Thank you! I do remember now his name was Scott. How weird that both these Peterson’s have had a Stacey (Staci) in their lives.
You’ve got to be kidding —yet another Peterson. Must be something in that name!
nanchen u — You are correct - I just checked — it was indeed "Laci" Peterson. And, she was pregnant with her unborn son. You are awarded the gold star for correctness. Another Peterson Cad. I must google and see if there are anymore Petersons (male) - You are so smart and I have had too many glasses of wine this evening! LOL
nanchan — I just remembered something - wasn’t the name of the unborn baby son Connor? I really loved that name.
My deah (as we say in the south) I like the way you are sassy! A toast to you as well. Have a good one!
