Ex-Aide to John Edwards Talks to Grand Jury; Rielle Hunter-Edwards Sex Tape?

Here we go again. More down-and-dirty allegations about the Edwards-Hunter affair; former aide to admit Edwards is baby’s daddy in book.

Andrew Young, the ex-aide to disgraced former senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards, was in court yesterday before the federal grand jury.

Young’s appearance came during a secret investigation by the federal government into how Edwards spent funds designated for his presidential campaign in 2008, reports the National Enquirer and AP. Young was also the man who claimed to be the father of the baby of Rielle Hunter, with whom Edwards had an affair.

Edwards has denied being the baby’s father.

Young is also writing a tell-all book about the Edwards affair. In the book, not only does Young come out and say the former North Carolina senator is in fact the father of Hunter’s child, he also says there is a sex tape that captures some of the exploits of Hunter and Edwards. The New York Daily News says Hunter also told Young that she and Edwards talked about getting married should his cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth, pass away. About Young’s forthcoming book, it looks like Edwards turned on his trademark charm when he needed to. The Independent reports that Young will write about how Edwards assured him he would be "taken care of for life" if he pretended to be the father of Hunter’s baby. "You know how much I love you. You know I’d walk off a cliff for you, and I know you’d walk off a cliff for me," Edwards purportedly told Young.

Hmmm. Pretty heavy stuff. Let’s see if Edwards responds to these allegations once the book is in print!

Whatever is wrong with these men?   Do they honestly think that none of their dirty little secrets won’t ever come out?   The wives really go through the wringer with all this stuff that keeps coming out and they are the ones who suffer and the kids.

Well caj…they DON’T think…they just react…to testosterone.

I had a close family member that was married and his wife had cancer. After years of treatment, she had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. He was wonderful to her, taking care of her and the family. Always there for her…always. After she recovered…she decided that she didn’t want to have sex any more.

After staying by her side for years….and finally coming through it all….she decided that he was to never again have sexual relations with his wife. That was not what he was expecting to hear. Time didn’t help and she was not open to couples therapy.

He eventually had an affair. He was caught and she made his life miserable. He didn’t want to leave her and his family…but she made every day of his life a living hell. He was devastated and humiliated…guilty and ashamed. Eventually, they divorced and she spent the rest of her life making him pay for that indescretion. Everyone suffered.

He should have left rather than cheat, but leaving a mate that he did love, was not what the wanted to do. But living celibate was not something that he wanted to do either.

Everyone in that family was put through hell, the children…everyone.

Yes…it was.

Please let me be clear on this one; men should NOT cheat, it is never "the right thing" to do. But I must add that most men, would rather stay with their spouses than go through the BS of affairs and divorce. So many times, it is the wives that have used sex as a weapon to be withheld, or used as a reward.

Testosterone is a force of nature, not altogether harmoniously attuned to the brains higher functions. More women need to understand the power of sex within their marital relationship. It is a necessary thing, not dependant upon if the trash gets taken out….or the the gargage cleaned up.

Just saying…too many times, women use sex against their mates and that is destined for a failure of the relationship. Many women under estimate just how important sex is to a man. We are wired differently, men and women…to think that men relate and react in the same way as we do, is a mistake.

So sometimes, you have to ask if you want to be right…or do you want to be happy?

a long term marriage, or relationship, should not be crushed or destroyed just because intimacy is temporarily gone.  Men have the power to make their women want them again and it doesn’t start in the the bedroom.  There is no excuse for dishonoring your spouse of many years, memories, sacrifices, trials, heartbreaks and struggles.  It is a union to be respected for all time and during all phases.

THE WAY I SEE THIS IS  SOMEONE  HAS A WIFE  WHIO HAS CANCER AND RATHER THEN INVADE HER MISERABLE  BODY HE GOES OUT TO THE STREETS AND FINDS SOMEONE HE CAN INVADE   GEEZH, THE ONE WHO IS GETTING THE INVADING IS SO THRILLED  BECAUSE WHO EVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT  SHE WOULD GET A SENATOR  OR WHATEVER HE IS .  SHE  GETS A STEP UP IN THE WORLD, SHE HAS JUST TURNED INTO THE  HIGH CLASS STUFF!  SHE FEELS IT - SHE BELIEVES IT AND THAT IS THAT.   SHE NOW LOOKS IN THE MIRROW AND SEES  HERSELF  DIFFERENTLY.  DO YOU THINK SHE IS GOING TO CARE WHO SEES HER BEING  CRUDE, RUDE, OR TATTOOED>  HEY NO SHE DOESN’T FILM ON AND AS THEY FILM ON SHE WIGGES JUST A TAD BIT MORE.  SHE IS SOMEONE.

What a spin.  Wasn’t Young also involved with Reille?   I have no admiration for Edwards whatsoever.  But it seems that Young may be something of a hound dog , too.

Edwards is a dog and Young is a pig.  Both will get their’s someday.  Poor Elizabeth.  Is there no dignity left in the world.  As for FP I totally understand where you are coming from.  Although my 43 year marriage has been wonderful my daughters was not.  She stuck it out because of the kids and woke up just recently to realize she will be 40 still in good shape a great job and she can’t stand her loser husband.  For 12 years he has lived off her and now she is crying uncle.  My husband & I are thrilled about the divorce and are happy to know that before we leave this earth her no good lazy husband will have to find a meal ticket somewhere else.

Barbara…congrats on 40 happy years….that’s great…our 30th is coming this month….time sure flies when you are having fun.  So glad you daughter is going to finally do something for herself and be happy!

edwards fling won’t last…the "other woman" will soon be the "other woman" when he roams again…and he will!!!!  If I was Elizabeth, I’d kick him out of their big mansion and let him go live with her and be a daddy to a baby all over again…you know it’s not as much fun once your own kids are raised and you are set with grown children…and free to come and go….now he will be back to changing diapers (if he ever did with his first family). …and doing it all over again!!!  He will get bored and want to move on…

Do you suppose in the sex video tape he was worried about his hair looking good and all in place…probably watched himself in the mirror!!!!

Libra Lady that made me LOL.  I’m so happy for you as well.  I married a great guy and I love growing old with him.  He still works in advertising "A real Relic" I might add and still calls me his bride.  He will be 68 on July 14th and I am 63.  My only regret is our health could be better.  The good news is we still have time to improve.  Do you have Grandbabies?

Barbara….I feel pretty lucky myself…and looking forward to the next 30…my in-laws just celebrated their 70th anniversary in April.   No, no grandbabies yet….we are hoping though…..right now we have 5 grandpuppies….and we are watching 3 of them now along with our 2….now that can keep you on your toes….but oh so much fun…they are all little so that’s good!!!

Edwards is just as much a slime ball as Sanford and any other man who cheated on his wife.  I find it interesting that on Sanford’s thread it was all about his being a Republican YET nothing has been said about Edward being a Democrate and how he praided his family and his sick wife on the campaign trail.  To me he really showed his family values also, NOT.
