Former Bush Staffer Dana Perino Joining Firm Led by Clinton Ally

The former Press Secretary for George W. Bush found a new job — and, surprisingly, colleagues — at the PR firm Burson-Marsteller, which happens to be led by Hillary Clinton’s former campaign guru Mark Penn.
Penn is hardly the only Clinton acolyte on the firm’s staff: Bill Clinton’s former communications director, Don Baer, and Josh Gottheimer, who penned the former president’s speeches, also work for Burson-Marsteller, which represents a variety of international clients. The firm represented Blackwater USA after some of the security force’s agents killed Iraqi civilians in 2007.
Speaking on Perino’s hiring, Penn insisted her days working for the Bush administration make her an invaluable asset: "She’s been through some incredibly difficult experiences at some of the highest levels, and comes out of that an extremely skilled practitioner." Perino will serve as Burson-Marsteller’s "chief issues counselor," according to The Wall Street Journal.
Though things may be a bit awkward between Perino and the Clinton clan, she will no doubt have a friend in former Bush adviser Karen Hughes, who is the firm’s vice chairman.

Even more so — Karen is reportedly vice-chairman.
Burson is a well-regarded established firm — what is so silly is the tabloid nature of the headline. Dana landed on her feet at an extremely well-regarded firm. I wish WoW would refrain from the tabloid nature of its recent articles and headlines
This is great news…..Dana is a very intelligent woman….good for her!
