George W. Bush is keeping his forthcoming memoir simple.

Rather than rambling on and on about his life, the former president will instead focus on 12 important decisions he made during his reign in the White House. The book, entitled Decision Points, will be published by Crown Press next fall, reports CNN, and will include passages on Bush’s decision to run for office, his response to 9/11, the days leading up to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and life with his wife, Laura.

Said Bush in the publisher’s official press release,

I am spending time on the book every day. My goal is to bring the reader inside the Oval Office for the most consequential moments of my personal and political life.

I look forward to painting a vivid picture of the information I had, the principles I followed, and the decisions I made.

Oh, Bush — the picture’s vivid enough, don’t you worry.

Save your questions for Obama after he publishes his book….he signed the deal 5 days before he was sworn in and received a $500,000 advance.   Now, there’s a guy who can answer your question!

Thank You Ma’am!

Amid all the World’s insanity we need to laugh at it.  It’s all I can do these days to keep my own sanity.  As for the title, I think he shoulda went with Strategery!

So, "The Decider" is writing a book call "Decision Points"… late night comedy should be thanking him for that. Will the cover say "Decision Points by The Decider"? Even if I wanted to read what he has to say, I couldn’t do it because in my head every word would sound like him. Anyway, the only time I will sit and listen to him talking is when he is testifying in front of a Tribunal.

Libra:  You might want to cross your fingers for your leader now though…

I never thought Obama would get this far without imploding.  I wonder how much further he’ll go?  He had better either settle down and do his job or party big as a final hurrah.

Marjorie, remember how last week Rush Limbaugh (that harmless fuzzball) was the “boogieperson” du jour for (gasp) wanting Obama’s policies to fail? Well, the Administration is soooo over elRushbo. Today’s “boogieperson” is Duke University Men’s basketball Coach Mike Kryzkewski…a/k/a Coach K. Yesterday after the noteworthy presentation of Obama’s Final Four picks (he has Duke taken out by Pitt in the previous round). A reporter asked Coach K what he thought of Obama’s prediction for Duke…the West Point grad, devout Catholic Coach K answered by saying (to the affect) “while I respect what he is trying to, shouldn’t the President be more focused on the economy?”. Today, Coach K is being vilified for “disrespecting” the President; for “embarassing” the President; for questioning the judgment of the President. People are calling for his dismissal; sanctions against Duke…ALL BECAUSE HE SPOKE OUT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT’S BRACKET CHOICES! But hey…did you see Obama sits down with Jay Leno tonight??? How cool is that???

Mary…are you serious…they are asking for dismissal or sanctions against Duke????  You have got to be kidding me….what…is Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson in on this one???  What will Gibbs say to the press this time???  The stories just keep developing….

No Sharpton or Jackson (should I add “yet”?). Waiting for Gibbs “response” in today’s presser. ESPN messages boards were getting a little ugly (not the just the usual smack talk). Drudge has it headlined as well. But look, 13 more companies (who have tax issues) have their own version of BonusGate happening. And the Administration no doubt timed this “release” for “LenoDay” Coach K’s remarks (drawing harsh criticism towards K and Duke) are just icing. Its all about diversion.

Coach K has nothing to apologize for, Mary QC, nothing!   Trust me, Coach K is far more useful to Duke than Obama is to the American people at the moment.   Looks like our "cool" new president isn’t so cool anymore.
