George W. Bush Penning Book on Presidential Decisions

George W. Bush is keeping his forthcoming memoir simple.
Rather than rambling on and on about his life, the former president will instead focus on 12 important decisions he made during his reign in the White House. The book, entitled Decision Points, will be published by Crown Press next fall, reports CNN, and will include passages on Bush’s decision to run for office, his response to 9/11, the days leading up to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and life with his wife, Laura.
Said Bush in the publisher’s official press release,
I am spending time on the book every day. My goal is to bring the reader inside the Oval Office for the most consequential moments of my personal and political life.
I look forward to painting a vivid picture of the information I had, the principles I followed, and the decisions I made.
Oh, Bush — the picture’s vivid enough, don’t you worry.

A series of comments regarding 13 companies taking bailout money and owing taxes were removed as it is already being discussed in one of the AIG topics.
Let’s keep this discussion to the former President’s upcoming book. Thanks!
He won’t be lying. He will be telling the truth. As I’ve said, "History will be very kind to George Bush" especially after what is going on in the White House over the last several days.
Reminds me of an old comedy routine by David Frye. Mimicking Richard Nixon he said, "I am responsible but not to blame. Let me explain the difference. Those who are to blame lose their jobs. Those who are responsible don’t."
Obama reminds me of Richard Nixon. Richard Nixon did not surround himself with good people in the White House. I’m beginning to see that Barack Obama has done the same thing. The end result cannot be good.
Are you saying that H.W.Bush was not a good person??
Maurine: So The Decider is writing a book all by himself.
There will be a ghost writer. Even Obama uses ghost writers… every day. I hope you don’t think those words on the teleprompter are his. Think Jon Favreau…. Common practice. Past presidents dictate their books, current president has speech writers.
We’ll need to get out our A B C books so we can understand his simple words.
He has to be the most unintelligent President we’ve ever had.
Most of the good writers here on Wowowow could write better books than Old Georgie could.
He better get a good Ghost writer………if he uses any big words, you’ll know Georgie didn’t write the book.
