Sarah Palin for President? | 03/11/2009 11:20 am
Group Raising Money for Palin White House Run

Sarah Palin hasn’t officially announced her intent to run for the presidency, but that hasn’t stopped a group of enterprising Connecticut residents from sounding the call for the Republican’s White House run.
The "2012 Draft Sarah Committee" met last night to start raising money for the Alaska governor, reports The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein. And they couldn’t have picked a more down-home location: Denny’s.
The meeting was, organizers say, the first of many:
Gov. Sarah Palin meet-ups will be held in towns and colleges across the country the second Tuesday of every month. The next scheduled meet-up is Tuesday, April 14.
The idea is for people of like interests to meet informally on the second Tuesday of each month. No official talks or speeches. Just some coffee, a bite to eat and a chance to chat.
And, we’re sure, plenty of Palin love: The group has already raised about $3,000.

In other news, due to the fact that shirt sleeves are a sign of ability to run a country or be married to someone who does, 90% of the south has filed a lawsuit citing discrimination for wearing tank tops.
