An amber alert has been issued for Briant Rodriguez after two gunmen stormed his family’s home in San Bernardino, California, tied up his parents and four siblings and then kidnapped the 3-year-old.

The men, who his parents described as strangers and estimated were 18 and 20 years old, also stole money and other belongings. The family escaped after one child freed himself and untied the rest, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Rodriguez has curly brown hair, brown eyes and is about three feet tall.

My heart clutched when I read about the kidnapping.  So close to the border with a young boy is tow, not good.  Hope they catch these rats before any harm comes to Briant.  When a person isn’t safe in their own homes, that just causes more people to get up in arms, too literally, I’m afraid.

Kelly, that was my thought also. I hope they don’t harm the little boy and that he is returned soon.

I pray this little man will soon be reunited with his family and not suffer any long term effects.  My daughter is 3 and I can’t imagine how scared this little man is.

There is something about this story that just does not make sense to me.  This just sounds off, and I don’t know why.  Poor little kid, he must be just terrified.

Yeah, I can’t put my finger on it, and I’m hoping it’s just a grandma’s paranoia. I just hope they find the little guy , and he’s ok.
