Howard K. Stern, Doctors, Arrested for Anna Nicole Smith Drug Peddle

Maybe now Anna Nicole Smith can rest in peace.

More than two years after she died of an accidental overdose of prescription pills in Florida, Smith’s ex, Howard K. Stern, and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor were arrested in L.A. Thursday for providing her with the illegal drugs. Those two, along with psychiatrist and neighbor, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, have been charged with conspiring to "repeatedly and excessively" provide drugs — including opiates, benzodiazepines and other controlled and non-controlled substances — to Smith for three years, according to California Attorney General Edmund Brown.

"These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose," Brown said. "There is ample evidence that Dr. Eroshevich and Dr. Kapoor violated their ethical obligations as physicians, while Mr. Stern funneled highly addictive drugs to Ms. Smith."

Brown will hold a 10 AM PCT press conference today to discuss the charges and arrests.

Stern was also the former Playboy playmate and reality TV star’s attorney. For a time, it was thought he could be the father of Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn. As it turns out, Larry Birkhead is the father, and the legal wrangling leading up to that determination was a media circus. Smith’s mother is still suing Birkhead for custody over the little girl.

first of all they were NOT illegal, they were by a Doctor prescription! You might just want to read her whole story. And the only reason this came to light AGAIN is because there MONEY on the table, that everyone WANTS.

"Yes she married that old man for the money & then had to battle for it, was she entitled to any of it, Who is to say, she was legally his wife." Actually, we can make a pretty good guess since Marshall intentionally excluded her from his will. His wishes should be respected.

i wonder if Howard had anything to do with Danny dying too!! I always felt he controlled her with drugs and tried to keep her baby away from its natural Father. Thank God Larry Birkhead fought so hard for that baby.

i hope Anna’s Mother never gets that baby girl. Look what she did to Anna. She is after the child to get something more from Anna…money. The baby girls Dad has full custody and truly loves his child. She is where she should be.

I’m new here I was passing by and decide to post a comment.I fallow Anna Nicole Smith since she start fiting her ex husband.

She kill herself by hartbreaking and loosing her son.She always took medication but when her son died she needed psy help.

She was in pain cause she ad a C section,then she loose her son then ad a pneumonia and finally and infection of botox.

Calling Stern Enabler,you should add a long list of them and not just see what is report on gosspil.

This case is more to remove Stern from Anna’s estate and gain by her mother Vergie Arthur the money Anna should inherit from her late husband Marshall.Anna ad a big family problem and her addiction start at that moment,when she was in her Mother’care.

Accusing Stern is irresponsable and a big error.

The Dr E and Kappor should be seen.Anna was a big Girl like almost 6 feet and was really tolerante to medication.

An other part of the story is You still innocent before prouve guilty.Are you the 13 jury???
