Joe Biden's Mother Jean in 'Good Spirits' at Hospital

The 91-year-old mother of Vice President Joe Biden is in "good spirits" after suffering a fall on Sunday.

Catherine Eugenia Biden, who goes by the nickname Jean, fell in her Delaware home and was brought to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A smiling Jean shared the stage with her son on Election Night. We’re glad she witnessed her son, who served on the Senate for 36 years, become vice president!

I really like Joe Biden’s mother!   She seems to have alot of "fire" in her still!   Hope she recovers quickly from her fall so that she can get back to keep ole Joe in line!!!

I love to see our senior citizens so alert and engaged as VP Biden mother.  He obviously adores her and quotes her often.  I wish her a speedy recovery.  I wish  Mrs. Cheney well also.  She seemed nice althought I don’t like  some of the things her husband has done.

Falls are so common in the elderly. I hope she can have a successful recovery. She has the spirit and the support to get her back up and going again. Maybe in a walker, but that’s ok. She’s a 91 yr. old champ!

Well, if you have to be in a hospital for urgent care HUP is a great choice.
