Karl Rove: Joe Biden a 'Liar' and 'Blowhard' (Video)

Karl Rove has some fightin’ words for Vice President Joe Biden: "liar," "blowhard" and "serial exaggerator," to name a few.

Biden this week told CNN that he and Bush once had an exchange in the Oval Office, where Bush said, "’Well, Joe … I’m a leader," to which Biden responded: "Mr. President, turn around and look behind you. No one is following." Rove, however, insists that exchange never happened.

"I hate to say this, but he’s a serial exaggerator … If I was being unkind I would say liar. But it is a habit he ought to drop," Rove told FOX News, calling the whole exchange "fictional." "You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the vice president of the United States."

Rove and an array of other top ex-Bush staffers also say Biden’s claims that he challenged Bush’s moral compass and his instincts in the Oval Office are nothing but bull. Rove said Biden was never with the president for more than a few minutes, and there was always staff around. "It didn’t happen," he continued. "It’s his imagination; it’s a made-up, fictional world. He ought to get out of it and get back to reality … He’s making these things up out of whole cloth."

A Biden spokesman on Wednesday said "the vice president stands by his remarks."

No doubt this will cause Biden to fume. But he’s not the only one peeved at Rove.

Jason Roe, an ex-staffer to former Rep. Tom Feeney, R-FL, verbally assaulted Rove Thursday night at a Capitol Hill steakhouse, according to Politico.

Roe reportedly was "loud and boisterous" toward Rove, and is hopping mad over comments Bush’s former chief of staff made on FOX News the day after the 2008 elections, when Feeney and other Republicans lost their seats. Rove said those who lost "had not done their homework and hadn’t gotten ready for a tough race … You know, like this guy Feeney in Florida."

During the exchange, Roe allegedly lashed out at Rove, saying: "I’m offended by your comments on Fox about Tom. You guys wouldn’t be in the White House without Tom. And you made these really degrading comments about him that offended a lot of people." Rove replied: "Well, I have a file on the things Tom Feeney said about George Bush."

Of course he does. We guess you can’t say the man commonly referred to as "Bush’s brain" doesn’t do his homework. They don’t call him "the architect" for nothing!

Here’s video of Rove’s Thursday appearance on FOX:

First and foremost Lying and Faux news go together and that is why he was there. This man should have testified a long time ago. He is trying to do spin to save his rear. He can go on faux news but I can’t wait till he testifies. I wonder how many times he invokes the 5th ammendment.

Actually, I’m sure they understand it……….they just hope their base doesn’t…….and it’s obviously working for some here.   Thankfully, the majority of Americans see through it.

Check this out. Rove was verbally accosted in a Capitol Hill restaurant last night (Thurs.) by Jason Roe, the former chief of staff to GOP Rep. Tom Feeney. Roe did not like Rove’s criticism of Feeney on Fox after Feeney lost in November.

What’s interesting here is that Feeney was the Florida Speaker of the House during Bush v. Gore and was complicit in helping Bush and Rove steal the presidency in 2000. Here’s a bit of the exchange:

Here’s witness’ version of the altercation:

Roe walked over to the table, "I’m Jason Roe."

Rove: "Oh, the famous Jason Roe."

Roe: "I don’t know that I’m famous, but I’m Tom Feeney’s former chief of staff, and I’m offended by your comments on Fox about Tom. You guys wouldn’t be in the White House without Tom. And you made these really degrading comments about him that offended a lot of people."

Rove: "Well, I have a file on the things Tom Feeney said about George Bush."

Roe: "That says more about you than me that you kept a file on Tom Feeney. This guy was so restrained in his desire to criticize the president — even against this staff’s advice."

Rove: "I have a file."

Roe: "I’m right here, tell me to my face what’s in that file."

Rove: "I’ll send you the file."

Roe: "Well, I hope the file is the beginning of the conversation and not the end. I would love to disabuse you of whatever you think of Tom Feeney’s loyalty from this file."

Rove: "If you keep talking over me, this conversation’s going to end right now."

Not surprising that Rove keeps flies on his "enemies list" — what is shocking is that after all that Feeney’s boy is still trying to suck up to Bush through Rove.

Instead of owning up to their shenanigans, they just keep a file on whomever they lied about so they can blackmail them. Great strategy, Rove.
