Letterman to O'Reilly: 'You're Too Smart to Believe What You Say' (Video)

David Letterman wasted no time bashing Bill O’Reilly when the talk show host appeared on Late Night Tuesday.

The funnyman first poked fun at the Fox News host’s ratings (though he should have done his research because O’Reilly champs prime-time cable news). Letterman, an outspoken liberal, also threw verbal punches at the staunch conservative personality for his affinity for Rush Limbaugh and boycott of Sean Penn’s movies.

O’Reilly should have known that sparks would fly. In 2006, the "Late Night" host questioned O’Reilly’s credibility as a journalist, when he said, "I have the feeling about 60 percent of what you say is crap."

Letterman’s feelings obviously haven’t changed. Last night, Letterman gave him the back-handed compliment: "You’re too smart to believe what you say." Watch a clip of this latest love fest below and tell us what you think:

O’Reilly actually backs down from no debate and no opposing views. I have NEVER seen Olbermann have a guest on with opposing views.  O’Reilly smacked down Letterman good this time.  Anyone who doesn’t think Dave would boycott Limbaugh cause he disagrees with him is dumb. Letterman is an extremist left wing wacko elitist .

Bill actually gets Letterman to attack Sean Penns pal Hugo Chavez. So Letterman agrees with O’Reilly on Chavez and both disagree with Penn.  Liberals are always easily exposed when you scratch the surface.

Let us get this straight. Its not OK for O’Reilly to boycott Penn who embraces the enemies of America like Chavez but its ok for Letterman to trash Limbaugh and call him fat because he disagrees with him? Very mature.. God America needs to wake up .
