'Bratty' Meghan McCain: Donna Brazile Will Defend My Weight

Meghan McCain’s got one tough cookie in her corner should anyone mess with her about her weight: Donna Brazile.

Brazile, a Democratic operative and former campaign manager for Al Gore, ran into McCain at the Washington Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington Saturday night. The two must have hit it off, because McCain later left this message for her almost 35,000 followers on Twitter:

"Donna Brazil [sic] said she would kick ass for me if anyone attacks my weight again — who doesn’t love her?"

McCain, a Daily Beast blogger, got into a very public feud with conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham a few months ago, who skewered McCain for her weight.

McCain may have Brazile in her corner, but she certainly didn’t seem to make many more new friends Saturday night. She reportedly showed up to the event with two tickets, and two friends — meaning she was a ticket short.

"The security guard sent her to talk to someone to sort out the situation, but Meghan got bratty and nastily told him, ‘We’ll just stand here then,’ like an insolent child," one source told The New York Daily News. "She muttered to her friends, ‘Does he even know who the f—- I am?’" McCain was also reportedly complaining about everything, and really didn’t like the joke comic Wanda Sykes made about her parents.

“I didn’t like the joke about my mom [Cindy],” McCain told the Daily News. “Why talk about her at all? I (didn’t mind the jokes) about my dad, but leave my mom out of it. It really wasn’t in good taste.”

Meghan was a great help to her dad during the campaign, and yes, she is a senator’s daughter (with a potty mouth )and who, for some odd reason, believes she should have red carpet treatment.   Someone needs to remind her that it is not her father who now lives in the White House.   She also may need help with math.  Most people understand what two tickets will admit.

As for Wanda, that was actually a pretty tame comment from her.

I think that Meghan has a great future in front of her; however, she still has a little growing up to do.

She’s right about Donna Brazile; she is one tough cookie!

After making the comment ‘Does he even know who the f—- I am?’"…  Meghan has no business saying the paid comedian’s joke "wasn’t in good taste".

I never loved her… but I have defended her right to say what she wants and to weigh what she does. I also think she is delusional if she believes the GOP will ever be anything BUT the bigoted, corporate worshipping party of old men that it is.

I guess in your world woman are not Republicans.  She has every right to speak her mind but to expect the REpublican Party to become Democrats is a bit far fetched.  Her dad even disagrees!

I used to have some respect for her..but she seems to have become a bit egocentric and  very much a Democrat in how she thinks.. Like Powell she is one in name only!

I at least dropped the party name to reflect my beliefs rather than EXPECT the party to change for me!

So being the opposite of bigoted, corporation worshipping party of old men is to become Democrats eh? OK ;.

I think Meghan should become a Democrat and like I said is delusional if she thinks her dad’s party is going to change. At some point she will have to break rank with him.

I love this and I will steal it cause that’s how us low life libs are.

"some point she will have to break rank with him."

C’mon, don’t you think she really pushed the button for O? Trust fund, hell - she earned her money.

I think Meghan is a closet Democrat and will eventually see that the party of NO is not for her as they have no intention of ever changing their ways.  She has a more modern outlook for them but they just do not want to move out of their comfort zone at all and will resist it at all costs.  Come on Meghan come over to the light you have been on the dark side for too long.

She will figure it out when she pays her OWN taxes!

I think she is beginning to figure it out already and that the party she loved to be part of is no more.  She will either become a Dem or get out of the party as it is going nowhere especially the way she wants it to go.
