Michelle Obama can add another honor to her ever-growing list of accolades: Maxim’s Hot 100.
The British lad-mag has for the first time ever included a First Lady on their annual list, which typically includes models and actresses. The magazine writes that Mrs. Obama’s the "stimulus package America really needs," but remains respectful with their accompanying picture: the First lady’s official White House portrait, AFP reports.
The magazine goes on to write that President Barack Obama should be proud: "[Obama] may be dealing with two wars, an economic meltdown and a rapidly graying dome. But at least our commander in chief gets to come home to the hottest First Lady in the history of these United States."

Yes, with all that is being revealed with critical and knowing eyes on President Obama and his administration from their failed stimulus pork laden package, Nancy Pelosi and others, and inexperience in understanding the war in the Middle East, we now have "Michelle Obama makes HOT List."
Aren’t the Obama’s the least bit embarrassed?
Those of you out there making an issue of everything Michelle Obama does are very old school. I say that because the word conservative is too flashy to describe some of you here.
A, that’s just not true. Nothing like this has ever happened before to a First Lady. It is, to me, somehow lowering the standards of a highly visible role model to the world. To have our First Lady approve this article as being "Hot" has nothing to do with conservatives or republicans. It has everything to do with how she "thinks."
Perhaps if Barack and Michelle had, at least, experienced being in a mayor or governor role before entering the White House, they wouldn’t be making these choices. They arrived, totally inexperienced, in the proper protocol necessary to uphold the highest respect for the American people.
It is my guess that we will not see anything like this again. I believe they both are starting to understand how formal and important their positions are and it’s best to leave Hollywood in California.
When we are bias towards certain people or things we are blinded by our biasness. Therefore, I beg to differ.
Yes, it was a young, inexperienced cadre of voters who were caught in the glowing salesmanship abilities of Barack Obama. I’ll give him this….he was a very good salesman. Now he needs to deliver the product he sold to you fine young folks and I’m afraid you’ll be waiting for a very long time.
He’ll be hard pressed now to do more selling to the American people because so far he hasn’t delivered on one campaign promise.
First Lady Michelle Obama is worthy of all awards and honors bestowed on her! … She did not ask to be included on Maxim’s list! … She is not responsible! … I applaud Maxim for being respectful of her position!
They have absolutely no reason to be embarrassed! … I’m certain the Obama’s are amused by all the attention!
Why should they be embarassed? Why do you call it a failed stimulus after just a few months when we were warned this may take years to recover from? Did you read Maurine Dowd today?

Or the GQ article coming out this month?

Diana, first of all, we are so enjoying Monarch of the Glen. Thank you for putting us on to it. It is exactly what we enjoy from the Brits.
You posted last week, as realtor in Kentucky, that real estate is showing signs of recovery. The stimulus did not make that happen. What has happened is that a higher percentage of Americans have very good credit. They are the people who are taking advantage of low interest loans and are buying up foreclosures and resales…and let us not discount new home sales. The criteria for taking advantage of lower interest rate loans is that a home owner must default on several months of a mortage payment thereby injuring their credit to become eligible. Obama’s plan isn’t working for good solid home owners in trouble. It is convoluted. It hurts people in trouble seven years or more to correct their credit. This is good?
I did read Maurine Dowd. Basically, Obama’s team hasn’t helped Americans. Better he should have given everyone who filed taxes in 2008 a nice little $5,000 stimulus to catch up on their mortgage payments, and then we would be without this outlying debt to be paid, from his words, from the rich. Diana, it doesn’t make good mathematical sense and it prolongs a real estate driven recession even longer by every means. This President is without clear vision for Americans. His vision, however, is clear in that he intends to hold our country in enough debt to insure his re-election and it is not going over well with those with their eyes open.
