Newt Gingrich Says Chavez-Embracing Obama Like Carter: 'Weak' (Video)

Newt Gingrich definitely doesn’t approve of Barack Obama’s warm relations with Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez, whom the president met at the Summit of the Americas this weekend.
Appearing on Fox and Friends this morning, Gingrich, the Republican former House speaker, said that Obama’s actions are like those of Jimmy Carter and, therefore, weak. "Frankly, this does look a lot like Jimmy Carter. Carter tried weakness, and the world got tougher and tougher, because the predators, the aggressors, the anti-Americans, the dictators – when they sense weakness, they all start pushing ahead."
Obama caused a minor sensation when he greeted Chavez this weekend and shook his hand, which, says Gingrich, legitimizes the anti-American leader.

Deber…that is THE problem with this site. Too many stuck in thier own mindset, not open to even reading anything that does not support what they think is going on.
I read and listen to opposition so that I can find out where it all went wrong, if nothing else.
I don’t think anyone has to read the link to know how republicans feel about anything — the posters here make it very clear for all of us. =)
Mel!!! Honestly….get over this Dem/Rep thing!
They are both to blame. Educate yourself whenever and however you can. Its all up to us….we the people….individuals….thinking individuals!
I got over the dem/rep thing years ago. If you think I always agree with dems, you are wrong. There are good and bad in every party. It might interest you to know that during the primaries there was a Ron Paul sign in my front yard.
Well Rudi….maybe because she is a VERY intelligent, ethnic citizen that has an understanding of politics that gives a view that may serve a purpose.
Why fear her? You can do it….just click….and read….
