Democratic Sen. Harry Reid doesn’t seem to have any opponents for his 2010 election, but he and his campaign aren’t taking any chances, which explains why they’ve enlisted President Obama to appear at a forthcoming fund-raiser.
Congressional Quarterly confirms that the president will fly to Nevada on May 26 for an event called "The Good Fight," which happens to be the name of Reid’s book.
The event will be held at Caesers Palace and tickets start at $50, which will then be put into the Reid Victory Fund. That group, started in March, works closely with the state’s Democratic Party, and will help other party members in their respective elections.

All in the name of Money.
I love this phrase: "Nevada’s glitterati …"
Nevada HAS no glitterati.
Will the DNC, or the Reid campaign team, or well heeled Dem contributors (Mr. Soros?) foot the bill for Air Force One to fly out there?
Crickets chirping…yep. I knew that answer. I crack myself up sometimes with my little ‘jokes.’ Ahh…that’s so funny. I guess ‘this’ event will be part of a the Las Vegas ‘stimulus package.’
Mel…you have my vote on that one….
Mary…that was so funny…you are at your prime today!!! love ya!!!
Cyber love right back at ya…LL.
I wonder when the breathless, ‘we are so glad, happy, relieved, blissfull, adulating, adoring, that HE is our President ‘I love it when he smiles’ crowd will stop by this little ole thread?
More crickets chirping. Well…not just chirping…I think the entire life cycle of a cricket generation would be gone thru during "this" wait…could it be that President will be showing up, in AF1, in the very city he dissed business types for patronizing, to do the very thing THEY criticize most…politics. Because, well, our new President is soooo ABOVE all of that isn’t he???
LOL…
Oh, yeah? But, but but information was just released that we are in trouble! Which is it, Harry?
