Palin Brushes Off GOP Gingrich 'Snub'

Sarah Palin hasn’t had a very good week, especially considering that her Republican Party peers replaced her with Newt Gingrich as keynote speaker at a fund-raiser this summer.
Then there was former running mate John McCain avoiding saying he would support her in a potential 2012 presidential race. Still, Palin insists she’s in good spirits, telling reporters that she’s not going to focus on the bad news: "I would never accomplish anything and our administration would be ineffective if all I did was try to please those who look for anything to be negative about."
Palin also brushed aside rumors that she’s positioning herself for a White House run, saying that she’s simply focused on helping her Alaskan constituents: "My ambitions are to be the best governor that I can be. That’s what I wake up thinking about, that’s what I go to sleep thinking about and that’s what our efforts are all day long." That may be the best tactic for Palin, who has been in the spotlight since McCain picked her as his veep pick last summer.
If she wants to boost her image among Americans, she may want to step off the national stage, keep her head down and then reemerge with some new political progress. Otherwise she risks becoming tabloid fodder, which is never a good thing for a politician. Just ask John Edwards.

When in doubt, post a Sarah Palin thread. WOW…come on, this isn’t news.
Gordon Brown, proclaiming a ‘new world order’ at the conclusion of the G-20…is news.
Sarah being ‘snubbed’ by Newt is cyber water cooler gossip.
This isn’t just a dead horse; its fossilized glue at this point.
I think it RIDICULOUS that anyone would compare her to John Edwards who CHEATED on his sick wife!!! Using them in the same breath in disgusting
Suggesting she should step off the National Stage of trash media when it is the Dems/Libs that keep putting her there is ironic to say the least.
She is DOING her job…something many of her MOST vocal critics do not seem understand what that means.
Why would she care if she was replaced to speak at the dinner if she could not attend anyway????…and why would she also be unhappy about McCain not endorsing her when she has not even announced her candicacy???????
If that is a bad week….those with that opinion need to get out more in the REAL world!
"Here’s their so called evidence:….and for the record it was a different partner that has his divorced records sealed name Scott Rictner

another former partner’s family assumed that he was the so called partner…
1. Source …Jim Burdett. He’s the ex-con former brother-in-law of Brad Hanson’s wife Carolyn’s brother Craig Bratton, and boy is he a piece of work. Served three years in some unspecified clink for some sort of "theft," he filed for bankruptcy in 2001, he supposedly "turned his life around" and now "speaks regularly with family members" — that may change! — and says that everyone always knew Brad had had an affair but that it wasn’t until recently that word went down the family pipeline that the affair must had been with Sarah Palin, and that if the Enquirer came calling they had better deny that the affair had been with Sarah Palin. Just to make sure, the Enquirer strapped him to a polygraph and he passed with flying colors.
2. When the Enquirer initially called the Hanson household, Carolyn reportedly said: "I would prefer not to talk about it. It’s a nonissue." Then she hung up. Then she called back. And then said, "There is absolutely no truth to this story. It is a complete rumor."
3. Than Brad got on the phone and said, hilariously: "Todd and I are still friends. We own a cabin together. I talked to him four times this week. Does that sound like there was a disagreement?"
Thanks Deb….I just get angry when I hear this dribble. They just eat it up with a spoon . I believe nothing that I hear about her without doing some of my OWN research to get BOTH sides of the story!
They just repeat the idle gossip over and over. The source that NE quotes ASSUMED it was his former in-law of an in-law with absolutely no proof what so ever..intent on getting his 15 minutes of fame or $$ whatever comes his way with no thought as to the outcome! Although I find those that accept this trash as truth without and ounce of proof are just as appauling.
Rudi G. That is very obvious, it doesn’t matter if the negative information is accurate or not about Sarah Palin, huh? But boy if we are speaking about either of the Obama’s, the attitude is "let investigate this and prove it wrong" Now that is what I call fair, especially if you are a liberal. That kind of thinking is what keeps Americans split down the middle and terribly divided. The interesting thing I notice on WOW, is that the Conservatives are not hateful and terribly mean. Pretty interestin, huh?
