President Bush to Host Maria Bartiromo, Rick Santelli at Economic Forum

Former President Bush has officially embarked on his post-presidency plans.
The former commander in chief this week met with some of his old administration to discuss his nascent George W. Bush Policy Institute and presidential library, which will be built at Texas A&M University.
While the library’s nowhere near completion — and full funding — the president has signed on to host an economic lecture at the school. Yes, Bush will be the most famous person there, but the panel also boasts some of the economic world’s most recognizable faces, like CNBC hosts Maria Bartiromo and Rick Santelli. The event, billed as an Economic Leadership Forum, is part of the school’s Twanna M. Powell Lecture series.
More details on the event, which will be at 6 PM on April 20, can be found at the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation website.

Yes, Rudi, let’s get out the bibs…. that is, if anyone was going to hear this thing.
Missed seeing your posts. Maybe I’ve just not looked in the right places.
Okay, I’m glad, but I wonder sometimes if you’re not really Rudi, but maybe a blithe spirit. Are you a blithe spirit? If so, “Hail to thee, blithe spirit! Bird thou never wert, That from Heaven, or near it, Pourest thy full heart In profuse strains of unpremeditated art” Percy Bysshe Shelley. Now, I’m not being uppity and not flirting, just having a poetry moment!
PS..I have no doubt he will recieve the most flattering picture of the week for WOW! Geez…..are we in middle school?
oh my god………………..that will be hysterical!
Is the title of the event—-"How to lose your family wealth by investing in a careless way in something run by the guy who doesn’t know how to run a business"?
never doubted that President George W. Bush has always tried to do what’s right for this country and its citizens. That I have disagreed with President Bush on some things does not change the fact that I believe him to be an honorable man.
Not once did the country have to endure a White House sex scandal involving President George W. Bush. That’s an honorable man, right? The country has stayed free from terror strikes since 9-11. President George W. Bush said he would keep this country safe and he did. An honorable man. President George W. Bush has done more for Africa than any other President. He has helped them with their malaria and aids problem. President George W.Bush doesn’t seek recognition for this, he saw a need and filled it. An honorable man?
President George W. Bush was hit with 9-11 and Katrina. Neither were of his doing. But he got the country through both. Many may criticize the methods, but none can say President George W. Bush didn’t/doesn’t care. An honorable man.
The media has gone beyond condemning when it comes to President George W. Bush. The media has picked President Bush apart from being an alcoholic to being unintelligent to being uncaring and a warmonger. The media started this before President George W. Bush got into office and have never ceased. Throw the wonders of Hollywood in the mix and one wonders how President Bush carried it all without a whimper. President George W. Bush is an honorable man?
I, for one, believe that George Bush has much to share from being in the White House for eight long years and I will be first in line to buy his book as well as dedicated to supporting the many things he did right during his presidency.
George Bush was not perfect. Barack Obama will not be perfect. As Americans were not supportive of George Bush there are Americans who are not supportive of Barack Obama.
I look forward to his economic lecture on April 20th. God Bless George Bush and the United States of America!
deber: God Bless George Bush and the United States of America!
Amen. Nice essay.
