Rep. John Boehner: Nancy Pelosi Should Apologize to CIA (Video)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should show proof that the CIA misled Congress on the use of enhanced interrogation techniques — or apologize, according to House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio.
"Lying to the Congress of the United States is a crime. And if the speaker is accusing the CIA and other intelligence officials of lying or misleading the Congress, then she should come forward with evidence and turn that over to the Justice Department so they can be prosecuted," Boehner said on CNN Sunday night. "And if that’s not the case, I think she ought to apologize to our intelligence professionals around the world.
Pelosi last week said the CIA misled Congress on whether waterboarding was being used against certain high-level terror suspects in September 2002. Boehner defended the intelligence community, saying it has done a "marvelous job" in keeping Americans safe. "Instead of criticizing them; instead of accusing them of lying, we ought to be patting them on the back and telling them, ‘Job well done,’" he continued.
Meanwhile, Dick Cheney’s daughter, Liz, said Sunday that waterboarding was not used to produce intelligence that linked Iraq to al-Qaeda in the run-up to the war in Iraq, even though former State Department official Lawrence Wilkerson recently said "alternative" interrogations were used to find such a link.

Excellent post LL!
While the Libs are over there having another pity party with the thinking they are being so picked upon, HA! they wanted this liar to open her mouth and try and sink Bush, They were just to blinded to see that Pull-a-lie-osi was just that, a liar. Now they want her to shut up because she just exposed them for the liars they are! Had they just stopped walking backwards from the start, they wouldn’t have backed into one of the biggest brick walls ever, that next to Bidens recent gaffe of telling the world, terrorists and all, where he hides out in an emergency. About the only thing he left out was the wallpaper scheme.
Newt had a few words to say about fallen Queen Pelosi:
“I think she has lied to the House, and I think that the House has an absolute obligation to open an inquiry, and I hope there will be a resolution to investigate her. And I think this is a big deal. I don’t think the Speaker of the House can lie to the country on national security matters,” Gingrich said.
He continued: “I think this is the most despicable, dishonest and vicious political effort I’ve seen in my lifetime.”
“She is a trivial politician, viciously using partisanship for the narrowist of purposes, and she dishonors the Congress by her behavior.”
He added that “Speaker Pelosi’s the big loser, because she either comes across as incompetent, or dishonest. Those are the only two defenses. The fact is she either didn’t do her job, or she did do her job and she’s now afraid to tell the truth.”
Gingrich is right, of course.
Good Morning! Just picking up where we left off on Friday afternoon, I see.
I have in mind those protest rally chants from the 60’s and 70’s: Hell No, Nancy’s gotta go!
