Sarah Palin Penning Memoir

Alaska governor says this is her chance to tell her story without the media skewing it.
By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has plans to tell all in a memoir due out next spring.

The book will include how she balanced being a mother and lawmaker, having a child with a disability and supporting her teenage daughter through an unplanned pregnancy, reports Politico. The book, to be published by News Corp-owned HarperCollins, will also be published for the Christian book market.

"This is an incredible opportunity and I am excited to work with HarperCollins to tell my story and Alaska’s story," Palin said in a statement.

Although Palin remains mum on how much cash she’s receiving for the book advance, she does say that this is her chance to tell her side of the story.

She told the Anchorage Daily News:

There have been so many things written and said through mainstream media that have not been accurate, and it will be nice through an unfiltered forum to get to speak truthfully about who we are and what we stand for and what Alaska is all about … The idea is to focus on the content of the book and what’s coming in terms of me being able to tell my story unrestrained and unfiltered.

So, will Palin’s book be on your reading list next summer?

Yes….I wil be sure to buy the book….Good for Gov. Palin….since the media has tried to destroy her, it’s time she gets to have her say so in her own words.  Kudos to Sarah!

I agree with you a minimum of 100%! It is an amazing thing how quickly the media will build some one up as the newest and bestest thing on the planet, give it 24 hours, and then launch a no-hold barred blitz to undo the whole thing! It makes you wonder why anyone wants to be in the spotlight. I hope the book is a best seller because I doubt any of us know the whole story on Sarah Palin

I’ll buy the book.  I respect Sarah for her chutzpah and for her integrity.

For those of you who would like to dismiss her, by all means, DON’T BUY THE BOOK!  If you bury your head in the sand, maybe the very real threat of Sarah running for higher office will "just go away"… you guys crack me UP!

Right…don’t buy the book…don’t keep an open mind…you just might find out something that will prove you were so wrong…dont’ want to risk that now dems.  That’s ok…Gov. Palin does not need you to make her successful or her book successful!!!

I think the Dems SHOULD but the book and find out what the truth is! Then they’d know what the threat is all about! Bring it on Sarah they’ve got it coming!!!

Mary, I wouldn’t spend a dime on a book that will profit Palin. Check it out at the library.

One way or the other I think she’s someone worth knowing the whole story about. The media take was the usual build up to tear down song and dance. I might not agree with everything she has to say, but she did make an impact on the election and she got pushed around pretty good the whole time.

But they would willingly spend for the Elizabeth Edwards soap opera/trash novel, I mean, biography.

Guess we all have to watch our pennies and dimes in THIS recession!
