Another relative of a politician makes headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Sarah Palin’s sister-in-law was arrested for breaking into someone’s home in the governor’s hometown of Wasilla, AK. Diana Palin, 35, the half-sister of the former Republican vice-presidential candidate’s husband, Todd, faces felony burglary charges related to two break-ins at the home of Theodore Turcott. Palin was caught by Turcott, who told police that someone stole more than $2,000 from the home on a prior occasion. Thursday night, she reportedly headed straight to a bedroom cabinet, where Turcott stored money. This time, Turcott was home and confronted Palin with a gun to keep her in the house until police arrived.

In a further twist, Palin’s four-year-old daughter was reportedly sitting in a car parked outside the house waiting patiently for her mother to return.

A spokesperson for Gov. Palin declined to comment at the request of the Anchorage Daily News.

On Monday, someone else close to the family will make an appearance on television. Bristol Palin’s former fiancé and father of her baby, Levi Johnston, reveals telling details about the high-school couple’s sex life on "The Tyra Banks Show."
