As the mom to a family with 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescued, I just want him to set a good example and rescue a pet from a shelter rather that buy one from a breeder!
How foolish. They can get whatever their hearts desire, it’s a free world. Live and let live. I’m not offended if they decide to get a gerbil, what business is it of mine?
I too have Pet allergies……….Cats are the worst
Can’t breath and itch all over.
It will be hard for them to find a pet at a shelter that is hypoallergenic.
I’m sure if they buy a dog from a breeder it’s not going to undo the balance of the World.
duhh—-seems people are not aware that cat-feces should be handled w/’nuke-gloves’—-estimates of their native parasite-worms, infesting us all go to 60%—-yeah, they’re cute—-but cat-owners should be de-wormed every month—-
beyond that—-ever see a ‘seeing-eye-cat’? they do not ‘give-s—t for people—-only themselves—-
The children should have what pet they want.A cat is too independent and if it feels like hiding, ten Secret Service Agents couldn’t find it. I wish them all well and a long and happy life in the White House.
Nope - they have an allergic daughter and cats are the pits for those of us with that problem. And it is a huge problem with itchiness and big fluid bubbles in the eyes that itch. BADBAD
