Hello, Diana……I was in your turf today…skirting Lex to go to Berea to go for a second interview with my work at the Kentucky Artisans’ Center….our tax dollars at work…..our craftspeople at work……..So.. I thought about you….. Ashley Judd has sent me a robocall…cool….she has talked to “us” here, too….Tonight, Martha Layne Collins sent one, too…..Girls we love….I wanted Martha Layne to be the next Ann Richards…and …for me…she sort of was……. ‘Member Gatewood? Hemp for food, farmers, fiber… Keep Ky. Green……..I am so saddened by the paving over of this beautiful state….and I am so anxious about the “outcome”.. Just one Appalachian state….that’s all I ask………..all I pray for……….life with bubbas……….. I want one Appalachian state to go Dem……Just one…….Won’t be ours….but we might send a message to Mitch……..

Georgia, I have my yard sign out that says, “Ditch Mitch”. If you were going through Central Kentucky, you would agree it was a perfectly beautiful day, wasn’t it. As far as the Appalachian part of our state, I don’t think that many people realize that Bush did a signing order to relax the rules regarding mountaintop removal, which is one of the most destructive acts known to man. Truly horrible. If Obama gets in, I truly hope that the old laws can be re-instated. http://www.ilovemountains.org/myconnection/

Yes..gorgeous….. I wish that I were at liberty to be a Ky/KET/ sponsor…or something… I don’t dare go to that site…….. I’ll go there tomorrow……but don’t think for a minute that I haven’t already known about it….. I want to invite some of our city sisters to buy a homestead here….Two cities and everything in between….and it’s green for now….. Now….My concern for you is not that there must be some conflict about selling it…and some of that must be farmland….but that you haven’t quit identifying yourself as a widow…… My heart is broken, too…. Sooner you get over it, the sooner I can get over it….I know it ain’t easy…..

Why yes, of course, I’ll dress up as a middle management drone. I work nights! Thank goodness too, I hate being on NYC streets on Halloween. Now, that’s scary.

Maybe I’ll be a COOKIE. Naked, with a raisin in my belly-button.

That would be a chocolate-raisin cookie. I’m going to be a raisin cookie…does anyone else have a recipe?

Yes! “Miss Mary the Story Lady” and read to the children at a benefit for women in need. LOVE this day. Love this opportunity to give-away.

Anything and everything my husband does for me! I am royally pampered, especially the lighted candles with the bath filled with rose pedals, Champange and chocolate dipped strawberries….Exquisite!!! P.S. He too is royally pampered by me as well.

I wore my Cat In The Hat t-shirt and my Cat In The Hat big hat to answer the door for the adorable trick or treat tykes who came by.

As usual, I’m turning off all the lights and going to the studio to work so I won’t have the little nippers pounding on the door. It freaks out the dog so. When I lived in Bisbee AZ, Halloween was like a Special National Holiday because everyone paraded around the main part of town in their every day costumes with a few more feathers. That’s what Bisbee is like every day!

No I’m not getting dressed up ..but I’ll be out there handing out candy. I love seeing the kids in their neghborhood dress up. I even have candy for the parents. It’s a great night and it was warm last night so it was really fun. Have a great one! ( the real scary night is Nov. 4th!)
