1. The NY Delegation is WAITING to endorse Barack Obama and Charlie Rangel (D-nY) - her booster and sponsor — is openly complaining she is compromising careers of pols who have stood by her. 2. Charlie Rangel’s seat is now in jeopardy next Election cycle and he and other pols who supported HRC in NY are receiving blowback from THEIR CONSTITUENTS and have no answers. 3. HRC is a sitting United States Senator and is putting the NY Democratic Party establishment and fellow politicians in JEOPARDY by refusing to concede. They are respectfully waiting for her to do so — before they do. This DRAMA is unworthy of leadership — in New York, or in the highest Office in the land. Can anyone think this is a credible performance for the leader of the free world???

What do you think about a JMcC + HC ticket? Wouldn’t that be something?

Anne: I think this is the perfect match. Joe Lieberman can become their Secretary of State. Things and interests are very fluid. Apparently, HRC doesn’t respect the Party, her New York constituency, is willing to throw the NY Democratic politicians/delegation under the bus — and old alliance simply don’t apply. WoW hasn’t yet posted a Q&A or acknowledged the HISTORIC WIN — from a cultural, political, news perspective — while they are doing so even in Sri Lanka. Some women have no problem w/HRC’s Campaign or how she managed it — and view her loss through the VICTIM prism. She bears no responsibility. Very interesting times.

Interestingly, our Phoenix paper (AZ Rep) printed two op-eds on the race—the Richard Cohen on what a mess it has become, and Froma Harrop—on how mad many Hillary supporters are. I thought these were interesting choices. I also learned about blogs that are not dominated by Obama commenters like Kos and Huffpo…which is also fun, to compare notes…

That speech was all about HER. She was disrespectful to both Obama and the Democratic party. She thinks someone owes her something. Go out like a lady. Just go. Would you want someone with her attitude for a president? I would not

Technically, my opinion doesn’t matter because I don’t figure in your elections. However, my personal opinion as just another citizen of the planet, is one of terrible disappointment and furious rage that such a despicable person would deem herself qualified to lead such a wonderful country as the USA. She is magnificently horrid and terrible. Color her wicked.

i enjoyed hillary’s speech last night. it did not mean you have to go on cheering her forever. i thought it was a fitting end to the primary season. her accomplishment in this run is enormous. didn’t everybody cheer oprah for finishing the marathon? give hillary some credit. in the face of media watches on when it would become impossible to beat obama any more, she kept on pushing for health care and economic responsibility. THANK YOU, HILLARY, FOR RUNNING!!!

I’m glad to see Hillary is going to wage a guerilla war against the Democratic party - I can’t wait until she detonates some electoral car-bombs…

Jennifer - We expect it and will be ready. Then, New Yorkers can make an assessment if this is the standard we want to represent our interests in the future. Bring it on! And, HRC supporters should stop trying to have things both ways. Crying foul or claiming others are “mean” when this is the real deal on their side - is disengenuous.

Why thank you for your intelligent voice. Don’t wear out that dog whistle.

Who cares if Hillary concedes. men in the past have waited until the convention. your beloved Kennedy never really conceded to Carter - now Teddy’s a hero. Kennedy gave us Ronald Reagan in strong part because Carter was a terrible President. Why are you whining so much about a concession. It will still be up to Obama to deliver. There are many including myself who are still in our decision making process regardless of what she does.

I like Hillary. I’m for her. I wish she had gotten the numbers she needed so we’d all be celebrating. But I’m disappointed that she didn’t acknowledge Obama’s win

If she can’t accept the reality that it’s not possible for her to be the nominee, then how is she going to lead this country? She would only choose to see the realities that she wants to see. Only a few weeks ago, she SWORE up and down that she would not accept a VP position. Yet, now it seems like she wants it? Come on, that’s not a strong woman… stick to your guns! Stick up for what you believe it! But always be mindful of what really IS.

E.B.— You are correct and women should consider this through the prism of George W. — another narcissist who willfully refuses to see the world through any other prism than his own — and surrounds himself w/sychophants who write tell-all books after the fact, profitably (for them, anyway). Last night’s speech was similar to the Nixon “Checkers’ speech — albiet, w/out the pup…and there’s too much at stake for Americans to fall for games. “Where do we go from here…?” So much for swearing up and down about anything. You can’t rely on it. The math was prohibitive for HRC for weeks. Preparation should have begun, culminating with a concession speech last night — and return to work for New Yorkers who will be asked to repay her debt — no doubt, should have begun.

I am extremely saddened to see women, whether they are black or white seem so disrespectful of Hillary. I feel heartsick that we as women, feminist or not, have come to this. Do we believe the media pundits? Or the far right smear campaign? Yes, Hillary has her faults, so does Obama. We need to remember this was a campaign unlike any other. How much of this type of campaigning went on in the past and we as the public did not know. With the internet it is instant. I have read so many comments and blogs regarding Hillary and am appalled at the hatred and visciousness from women. Do we not even care how much of this affects the private person who is Hillary? She has accomplished so much regardless of her faults. Can’t we as women give her just a few moments to feel good about that? I love her for what she has given my daughter and my granddaughter. And what she has given me….the hope and reality that women are smart, are electible and are their own success story. And we as women need to remember always that that was not always so. Women gave their lives to get this far.And I thank Hillary for helping us get there. Thank you Hillary. You have my hand and my heart.
