Thank you Susan. That was wonderful. Thank you for putting my thoughts into a very eloquent summary. She deserves the utmost respect and one that many people are too hateful to give her.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/05/us/politics/04cnd-campaign.html?hp Hillary Clinton Likely to Suspend Campaign on Friday - NYT “We pledged to support her to the end,” said Representative Charles W. Rangel, a New York Democrat who has been a patron of Mrs. Clinton since she first ran for the Senate. “Our problem is not being able to determine when the hell the end is.”

Bob Johnson, former head of BET and performance artist during the South Carolina Democratic Primary — has NO CREDIBILITY to solicit support for a Hillary Clinton VP consideration. Whoever is advising Hillary really needs to STOP. Bob Johnson is the worst choice to make this case — to the Obamas. Dah??? More tone deafness. Pick anyone else because Bob Johnson is no longer relevant in any worthwhile context. For those who don’t remember SC — go to YouTube and remind yourselves, then ask yourselves WHY Hillary would put him forward as her ambassador for this discussion? Incredible! How can one feel empathy for someone who brings out the greatest hits of their own demise — and one of the progenitors of that demise in SC??? Clinton Inc. still doesn’t GET it.

I wonder how Hillary could have governed as president of the USA if she is so unwilling to face her present situation. It is a scarey prospect to me that she can’t/won’t face the truth. She lost her race. Weaving reality threads into the shawl of a dream holds it together. I fear this shawl is not made of cloth but only smoke disappearing up the chimney.

I didn’t hear her speech last night, just heard about it on cable news. I feel like this, sooo what, she didn’t concede right away and now we know she will on Saturday. Earlier it was Friday, keeps changing.

I am not a big fan of Obama as presidential candidate…now. I wish he had more record to examine, demonstrating where his walk takes his talk. That said from what I can see I do believe he will have that record in 10 years. As a woman with no qualms labeling myself as a feminist, Hillary is not the personality or leader for the presidency, especially now. Daniel Monahayn, whose NY congressional seat she inherited, gave her his blessing only with strong party pressure and many misgivings. He told a Vanity Fair journalist years ago he did not trust her because she didn’t seem to know the difference between truth and reality and didn’t hesitate to take credit from others nor seemed capable of admitting a mistake — this kind of arrogance is exactly what we don’t need more of now. And what exactly is all this experience of hers that gets mentioned? Seriously, what accomplishments should I consider strong congressional achievements? I’d appreciate specifics, not generalities about “years in politics”. And let’s talk about those years in politics, not in her own name but basking in the popularity of a very successful politician who leveraged his own political authority to find his wife a new homestate, serve a few years and then run for a presidential office. Unfortunately Hillary doesn’t appear have her husband’s ability to work with others or take wise advice that goes counter to or lengthens the progress to her vision. The health care debacle is unfortunately the most visible political arena she has had or shown leadership and that was decades ago. Her style appears to be “my way or the highway” and anyone who says that’s manhood-like goodness, is that not one of the things that are on the table to evolve not imitate? I’ve never worked for anyone like that succeeded for long or didn’t lose their most valuable staff over a short period of time. Isn’t that GWB’s style? I really would appreciate some education here about what it is that she has done that is so admirable. I’m mystified at the fervor for Hillary based on what I have discovered and would like to understand this. Thanks.

I disagree with most of the cable TV commentators, they are bias toward Obama and were during the entire lenght of the campaign. Saying Hillary didn’t have clear message, when in fact Obama was the one who had no message and never really talked about anything in particular, except he was going to bring about change and just have hope, he sold all the younger people who can vote, with that message, they have a short attention span, and really can’t stand to listen to a person that is really saying anything for very long. He had Oprah in Iowa,NH and SC, she sold Obama to the doubting blacks and whites and the media talked and talked about him everyday, it was like some subliminal message. In fact there seem to be no other candidates running except HC against Obama,it was weird. The whole thing was absolutely crazy. I expect a crazy adminstration if he gets in, and nothing in government will change at all. Oh I forgot history will be made, what could be more important, to some people and obviously the delegates who were determined to make Obama the nominee, qualified or not.

I feel so much happier and relieved to-day, having heard the news on TV last night that Hillary is finally “somewhat” recanting her ambitious bid to be the nominy for the most important position in the world. I simply could not imagine another Clinton in the White House to eventually, again, soil and disgrace the USA. People like them are not real. They are like unmerciful robots, programmed to control the humans around them. By the way, have you read the article by Katherine Q. Seelye, in to-day’s, (June 5th), NYTimes entitled, “For Clinton, a Key Group Didn’t Hold”. It says a lot about the precious Clintons.

Senator Obama often says, “This is our moment.” Well, Tuesday night was Senator Clinton’s “moment”. She, too, earned it. One has to wonder why CNN, NBC/MSNBC and other media continue to focus on Senator Clinton? Isn’t it time they focus on the presumptive Democratic candidate for President?

If you think you’re exhausted now, wait to see how the next four years unfold. I’m betting that those who voted for the President who takes office in 2009 will wish they never had.

mary the only monster here appears to be you. she took less time to endorse obama [sat] than any other loser has. Kennedy didn’t do it till convention, and many more like him did same to give final speeches. . your animus and ignorance is showing.

Since Tuesday night I’ve wondered whether Senator Clinton’s speech reflected a history of success that hadn’t prepared her to admit failure. How does any overachiever admit defeat?
