Medicating. Because it’s also my birthday celebration. Well, the 26th is technically my birthday (and for the love of pumpkin pie, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THAT), and I thought I was oh so clever and cunning by requesting to pick up an extra work shift Wednesday night…to avoid any possibility of being contacted by friends and distant relatives. Then I realized…does it even matter since my FAMILY will be coming over the next day for Thanksgiving??? Maybe I will work Thursday, too - HAH! (I work at a bar…here’s to praying that people without families will go out and get trashed on Thanksgiving.)
