Renata —- “Control their own”? Why must she drop her plans to fight to seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan? What’s with the CONTROL thing? When I vote, regardless of the circumstances, I don’t want anybody telling me my vote doesn’t count. Let her have at it! Let the fight remain all the way to their convention.

She has a slim chance of winning, but should stay in, the remaining states deserve a choice. And her base of support is huge, if she loses, it won’t be by much. The party and country need her, whether as the nominee, VP or strong senator.

She will be a “strong senator” from West Virginia or back home to Arkansas.

Yesterday on the news, Hillary Clinton quoted a woman who wrote her and told her” It aint over till the lady that wears the pants says it’s over”…..and you know what? I LIKE THAT STATEMENT! Hillary SHOULD stay in the race, because I believe that perhaps that situations might change at the very last minute, that she WILL win, instead of Obama. [It’s a “gut” feeling.] Besides, we NEED a woman in the white house! Remember, the last 2 women that ran for the presidency didn’t win because of the “Old Boys’ Network” that didn’t believe that a woman CAN be president. THIS time…I say, “To heck with the “Old Boys Network”…Men have made a horrible mess in the past of this country…NOW it’s time for a Woman to “Step Up To The Plate”! I believe a woman CAN do better than a man in the White House [although it would take one heck of a woman to clean up the mess previous administrations left behind!]. In fact,…if Hillary doesn’t win…than I”D like to be President, because I KNOW HOW to clean up the MESS the previous administrations left behind and I KNOW HOW to run this country PROPERLY!!!! You got my vote, Shirley. “Bitches get stuff done.” ~ Tina Fey “Hos before bros.” ~ Roseanne Barr Not that I endorse those disparaging terms in any way or anything.

Why is no one calling for Ron Paul to drop out of the race? Just curious.

I just heard an AMAZING stat. One in six West Virginians are on food stamps, according to CNN/Wolf Blitzer. If these Americans vote Republican AGAIN — this cycle, I won’t know what to think.

If that’s true…That they can still get food stamps under McCain if they got them under Bush? Remember that third term stuff everyone is selling? Certainly not that many people believe the whole economic structure will change anytime soon and everyone will get a piece of the pie. Get real.

In NYC if you break into a line, you get it from all directions. Obama is fortunate that he broke in line in front of Hillary instead of at a deli. After all she is only a woman. She’s not tuna fish.

How did he “break into line”? What line? The line of succession? The Maginot Line? The Rock Island line? The color line? Please explain; inquiring minds want to know.

Good question(s)…. Tell us all where the line is.

The experience line. The paying-your-dues line. The having-a-record-of-achievement line. The actually-voting-in-the-Senate-and-taking-stands-on-tough-issues line. The I-do-more-than-just-talk line. The I-dumped-my-wacky-spiritual-leader-eight-years-ago line. The I-will-represent-and-understand-all-the-peoples-of-this-great-land, even the-gun-owners-and-the-“embittered” masses line.

What dues? Which experience? Which issues? Which votes? The one for The Patriot Act? The Iraq War Resolution? The spirituality of The Fellowship? Please be specific.

Potus I: I believe the code language translates into: …THE KNOWING YOUR PLACE…line…as it applies to Barack Obama.

Yes I do think Obama should’ve known his place in line and respected it. He jumped the line when he wasn’t ready. Surrounded by controversy and Rezko and Wright and with no substantial record in the Senate. Had he waited 8 yrs and given Hillary her time to lead he could’ve come in right behind her, taken the reins with a restored economy intact and kept Democratic leadership going in the White House for another 8 yrs.! I do believe he butt in line. And there’s a whole of us are PO’d about it, because he sprang on the scene with fancy words and obviously very little understanding of the nation as a whole. You can’t describe Americans you want to lead with remarks like “gotten bitter and cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them.” That is neither savvy nor diplomatic. Another 8yrs in the Senate would’ve wizened him up! I’m sick to death of the Young Turks taking the place by storm mentality. I think we need to begin to respect the elders of the world for their leadership. Is it any surprise that it is the young people and new voters voting for Barack? They have no clue of how things really work at this level. Oh, the idealists.
